Chapter 5: He Cheated on Her

Rosé's POV:
After class ended, I tried to call Chanyeol because I couldn't find him anywhere. I already asked his friends but they all haven't seen him. How weird. So I dialed his phone number and I walked around the school's parking lot waiting for him to pick up. He didn't answer the first call and I was starting to get worried. When I started calling him for the second time, I heard his ringtone nearby. Wait, he's here the whole time? I kept searching and I finally found his car. But that wasn't the only thing that I saw. Tears started to roll down my cheeks as I saw Chanyeol making out with Sooyoung. I was looking at them with disbelief. Chanyeol noticed my prescence and how hurt I was when I witnessed my boyfriend making out with another girl. He hurriedly wore his shirt and pushed Sooyoung away from him. Sooyoung was just smirking while putting her clothes back on and shot me a glare. That bish, I did the same and shot her a glare too. I was so hurt and I couldn't believe that he could do this to me. Chanyeol ran after me while I fled the scene. I just want to be alone now. I wanna go somewhere where I can be away from anyone. Chanyeol called out to me.

"CHAEYOUNG-SSI!!"
He caught my wrist and turned me around.

"YAHH!! PARK CHANYEOL, YOU ASSHOLE! GET YOUR FILTHY HANDS AWAY FROM ME!"
I fired back at him.

"Chae, please. Let me explain."
Chanyeol pleaded.

"What are you going to explain Chanyeol? Are you going to explain how you and that girl did this behind my back?"
I spoke sarcastically but my anger is still present in my tone.

"Chaeyoung-ssi, I'm sorry."

"Forgiveness isn't for assholes like you, Park Chanyeol."

"Please, Chae. Listen to me."
I managed to speak calmly because I knew that this was coming to an end.

"No. Save it. We're done."
Just like that, I said those words to him. I walked away and found the park. I sat on the bench and there, I cried. I couldn't believe that he would do this to me. I loved him with all my heart. Our relationship was almost perfect. HOW CAN HE LET THIS ONE THING RUIN IT?! I just wanna cry. It hurts so much.

I had a lot of stuff in my head and I continued to sob. I covered my face with my hands that are leaning on my knees with my elbows for support. I suddenly felt a drop of water on the top of my head and that's when I realized it was raining. Great, the weather suited my mood but I was wet in my school uniform and I might get sick. Well, I guess that's kinda a good thing because I have a reason to stay at home after what happened to me. I kept on crying and I still heard the strong sound of the cold rain but I felt nothing. That's when I looked up and saw someone holding an umbrella above me to shield me from the rain. When I tried to get a better view of who it was, I saw the face of Jungkook. For some reason, I had the urge to hug him even though I was wet but I felt cold so I needed a hug. He hugged me back and caressed my hair.

"Let's go home, Pasta."
Jungkook said and I just nodded and put my hand around his arm because it made me feel safe and somehow made me feel a little better. Thankfully, after some time, the rain stopped. Jungkook closed the umbrella but we continued to walk. Then he looked at me.

"Rosè, why were you crying?"
I wasn't planning on sharing my problem with anyone else but before I could deny I was crying at the park, my tears started to flow again.

"I-It's about Chanyeol. He cheated on me so I broke up with him."
Jungkook pulled me close to him and I hugged his waist while he placed his arms around my neck so that he could caress my head and comfort me.

"It's okay, Rosé. You're should know that you're too good for him. You deserve better."
After hearing his words, I managed to stop crying so that I could properly talk to Jungkook.

"Well, I don't really know Jungkook. Chanyeol was my first love. He possesed the qualities of the guy that I wished to be with. I still can't believe that he would do such a thing. I did everything for him to really feel that I love him but it turns out that everything I did wasn't enough."

"Maybe fate has something in store for you, Rosé."

"Well, I guess that fate you're talking about will bring me to him someday."

Jungkook's POV:
I was on my way back home when I walked by the park and saw a girl who was sitting on the bench, crying. I soon realized that it was raining so I brought out my umbrella and went near the girl. Wait, she looks familiar. I protected her from the raindrops with my umbrella and when she looked up, that's when I realized that it was Rosé. Why is she crying? Seriously, I would beat up the person who made my Pasta cry. Then, she hugged me tightly out of nowhere. I hugged her back and caressed her hair.

"Let's go home, Pasta."
I don't know why I used her "secret" nickname but I just did and still that's the least of my worries. She has to go home now because she might get sick or what. She nodded at me and we started walking. After some time, the rain stopped. I closed my umbrella at I kept walking with Rosé. I'm about to die of curiosity because I wanted to know why my Pasta was crying. I hated seeing her like this. So I asked her.

"Rosé, why were you crying?"
She went silent for a moment but suddenly, tears started flowing. Then, she uttered some words.

"I-It's about Chanyeol. He cheated on me so I broke up with him."
Seeing her cry made me wanna cry too but I did everything I could to ease her pain. Without hesitation, I pulled her close to me and she hugged my waist tightly. I caressed the top of her head gently.

"It's okay, Rosé. You should know that you're too good for him. You deserve better."
Rosé managed to stop crying and she sniffled before she could reply.

"Well, I don't really know Jungkook. Chanyeol was my first love. He possessed the qualities of the guy that I wished to be with. I still can't believe that he would do such a thing. I did everything for him to really feel that I love him but it turns out that everything I did wasn't enough."

"Maybe fate has something in store for you, Rosé."
She smiled a little which made me feel happy too. I'm proud that somehow I found a way to make her feel a little better.

"Well, I hope that fate you're talking about will bring me to him someday."
If you only knew that fate had already brought you to him, Rosé. It hurts seeing you happy with someone else but it hurts more seeing you like this. I tried everything to get you off my mind, Rosé but my heart still beats like crazy for you. I don't know why I fell for you but I did. I love you more than anything. I love you Pasta.
