Chapter 11

<Chanyeol's POV>

"What?" I was shocked. "Lets just end here. We cant continue." Vanessa said and walked off without waiting for my reaction. What is this... Dont tell me Vanessa has fallen for Luhan. After all we have been through and just one pitiful act from Luhan can change everything. Our love was not as strong as I thought. I knew that she would be distant from me. But I didnt know she would initiate for a break up. I decided not to go to school with the state I was in and went back home.

<Vanessa's POV>

Sorry, Chanyeol. I have to do this. So Luhan can fully be happy and recover fast. If not, he will die... im sorry for not being able to confide in you. I just dont want to take any risk. I have no other choice. I cant possibly leave a friend to die when I am the only one that knows he is going to die. Wait for me, Park Chanyeol. Im almost done. Let me finish this.

<Chanyeol's POV>

I headed back home. I flipped all the books off my table and kicked one of the table legs. Plopping down on the sofa and ruffled my hair. What do I do now? I shouldnt be self-destructing right? If I do that, Vanessa will have no one to save her. Park Chanyeol, get a hold of yourself. After taking a glass of iced water to cool down, I decided to go to the hospital and search for clues. I changed and hurriedly went off. I have about 5 hours left before Vanessa reaches the hospital. I went to Luhan's room and saw no one in there. The lights were off. Where was Luhan? I opened the door and  looked around. Everything looks normal. Nothing suspicious here. As i was looking around, i saw a brown envelope on the desk. What is this? I was about to open it when I heard two pairs of footsteps coming in my direction. I immediately took the envelope and hid in the clothing wadrobe which was luckily, empty. The footsteps came closer and my heart pounded harder. Who was it? "Where is the contract?" Luhan said. "What where? I left it right here just now." The doctor said. "Its not a joke! Please be serious." Luhan raised his voice, slightly irritated. "Its not with me!" The doctor replied. I then heard a thud. Wanting to know what was going on, I opened the wadrobe a little and peeked. Luhan had pushed the doctor on the wall, with his elbow near the doctor's delicate neck, pinning the doctor down. He was strangling the doctor! "Let me go!" The doctor struggled. Being a fit man, Luhan was obviously able to take control of the situation. "Where is it?" Luhan asked once more "I... I think its in the office." The doctor replied, struggling. "Bring me" Luhan let go and allowed tje doctor to lead the way. Were they talking about this brown coloured envelope? What exactly was inside? Was it so important that Luhan has to resort to violence?
