<Chanyeol's POV>

After waiting for Luhan and the doctor to walk away, I came out of the cupboard. I hurriedly made my way to the hospital garden where no one was there. It was peaceful. I opened the brown envelope. Inside contained a stack of paper. I looked at the top and its says "contract" so this was the contract Luhan was talking about? But why does he seems so impatient with it? Is it so important that he could lose his temper? I looked at the conditions of the contract. One of the conditions was that once the contract ended, it will inform the parties involved. I then looked over. Vanessa's name was there. It was under the parties involved. So means Vanessa would be contacted once this contract ends? But when does this contract even end? I flipped through the pages and found it. Ah... it was ending tomorrow. No wonder Luhan was so impatient. Vanessa hasnt fallen for him yet. So he wanted to lengthen the contract. But is this contract enough to prove to Vanessa it was all an act? Is Luhan's name even in the hospital? One way to find out... I went to the information counter. "Hi, may I know if there is a cancer patient named Luhan currently staying at room A261?" I asked the lady at the counter. The lady peered at me before replying. "Theres no one in room A261." She replied. "Huh... no way... but he told me he was staying there." I insisted, trying to get something out of her. "R you sure? There is no one administrated to that room for two weeks." The lady raised her tone a little, getting annoyed. So Luhan didnt even put his name in the hospital... I went back seeing that the lady wouldnt give me anymore information. All I can do now is to show Vanessa the contract and try to convince her.

<Vanessa's POV>

Chanyeol didnt come to school. He was probably grieving. School ended and I went to the hospital. I tutored Luhan and talked to him. time flew and it was time for me to go. I closed the room door when Chanyeol came up to me. "What are you doing here?" I widened my eyes. Chanyeol then gave me a brown envelope. I took it. What is this? "What do u want? U followed me all the way here. How could you?" I asked, feeling betrayed as I didnt know he wouldnt trust me. "Luhan is lying. He doesnt have cancer. He just wants to..." Chanyeol said halfway when I cut him off. "I cant believe this. Ure trying to break the friendship I have with Luhan. I get that u r sad I broke up with u. But seriously, do u have to do this?" I stormed off without waiting for his reply.
