The drive was long and even though it only took a couple of minutes it felt like hours because Daemon yelled every couple of seconds things like "Be careful!" or "Watch out!" And whenever he wasn't yelling he was murmuring "Take it easy." Seriously, this guy has some issues! I mean I get it he absolutely loves his car but too much is too much. And I'm sure that his obsession isn't healthy at all because at one point he will have to say goodbye to his beloved baby.
Anyway, after I had finally parked safely we got out and soon after we crashed on the couch exhausted.
"Ok, I'm gonna go make your bed and you stay here, kay?"
"No, it's okay, you don't have to do that."
"Yes, I do, you're my guest and the guest is king."
"No, seriously, don't prepare a guest bed for me."
"Who said anything about a guest bed? My apartment consists of this room, my bedroom and a bathroom...."
"Well, I certainly won't take your bed from you. I can't tell you how grateful I am already."
"The bed is big enough that you can stretch, this couch isn't even big enough for me!"
"Well, then we will just have to share a bed if you won't back down and I won't either."
"Urgh, okay. But, just to be clear, this only works because I'm still a little bit drunk!"

We each got into bed. Him on the right side, me on the left. We laid on our sides as our backs faced each other. There were only two words that could describe this feeling perfectly: super awkward...
I couldn't really process what was happening. It wasn't until his light snores erupted throughout the room that I started to gasp for air. I had held my breath in unconsciously for the past few seconds. Eventually I started to relax again and allowed myself to roll onto my back. He groaned and shuffled around. I quickly turned back to my side and gasped when I felt his hands on my waist pulling me to his chest. His naked chest! His head snuggled its way into the crook of my neck. Every time he breathed my hair tickled my neck.
Goosebumps spread over my skin as I snuggled deeper into the embrace and finally, after a long long day, fell asleep.

Sorry that I didn't update for so long guys, it's just, that I've been studying really hard because my finals are coming up soon, so yeah...
