"And this is your soulmate, Tahani."
Michael announced, as a tall, tan skinned woman walked through Eleanor's door, her lips were a lovely shade of a pink rose petal and her attire was elegant, she definitely was the opposite of Eleanor who was in a plaid t-shirt thrown over a white tank top, and a pair of light shaded jeans, and a pair of white shoes.
'Woah, she's like a sexy elegant giraffe.' Was Eleanor's first thought as Tahani made her way through the door, she had always questioned her sexuality a bit when she was alive, so this didn't come as a shock to her, but then again, this wasn't exactly her soulmate either.
And though Tahani was fascinated by the idea of soulmates, a person made just for her, she was still looking around the house in disgust. Surely, any one who had this poor of taste couldn't be Tahanis soulmate. She then looked down, seeing Eleanor, who was almost a whole foot shorter than her, and a woman.
Tahani never thought she was one to be interested in women, and surely not women who were of a lower class than her, but she swallowed her bitterness and with a look of almost pure disgust, she smiled, surely The Good Place wouldn't lead her wrong. "Pleasure to meet you, I'm Tahani Al-Jamil, and you must be..?" She inquired.
"Your soulmate, Eleanor Shellstrop." She put out her hand for the other female to shake, and Tahani reluctantly shook it.
Eleanor was good at reading faces, and she definitely knew Tahani wasn't happy with her 'soulmate', luckily for her, they weren't actually soulmates but that meant Eleanor was stuck with her, and she was stuck with Eleanor. Eleanor knew this could be fun for her, she could live this luxurious life in The Good Place, and make someone elses life -- or death, Hell.
It's what she was good at, little did she know this was going to be more than hell for the both of them.
It was going to be a complete disaster.
"So, I live here.. with her?" Tahani turned to Michael, giving him one last chance to somehow realize it was a mistake putting the two together.
"Yes, and with that, I'll leave you two to it."
Michael walked out the door, shutting it behind him.
The two girls turned to each other, and both of them put on a fake smile.
Eleanor knew she wasn't meant to be here, which meant she needed to work hard to stay here and keep up the friendliest facade she could with her 'soulmate'.
