I woke up in the large bed, big enough for a family to sleep in. I pulled the covers off and shuddered. Looking down at my bare legs, only to realize that I was in nothing but my boyshorts and bra. I stood up in a hurry, and in the midst of my rage, I noticed the white button up shirt hanging on the door handle. I hurried over to the door, and pulled the shirt off of the knob, before turning it. I slammed the door behind me and slung the shirt over my shoulders, feeling the same comfort that I had the night before on the park bench.
I attempted to make my way through the castle's large corridors, but since I had never been in a building so large besides when I took a tour of Harvard. I ran through the halways, the calm breeze of the shirt hitting my sides in waves. I paused for a second to catch my breath, but mixed in with the breathing, I could hear maniacal laughter coming from down the hall. I made my way toward the sounds, and walked in on a man with long blonde hair; but none on the top of his head, and a beautiful woman with long curly red-is brown hair. The man was standing over the woman with his hand on her shoulder, while she painted words onto a banner. "Excuse me." I said. They continued on with their banter, not seeming to hear what I was saying. "E-Excuse me?!" They, once again, didn't acknowledge that I was there. Even angrier than I was before I was ignored, I made m way to their location. Regardless of how much the, what I assumed to be, couple, I wasn't going to let them ignore me like that. I tapped his shoulder and blurted out an, "Excuse me!" The two turned around in shock, and another girl with short pink hair popped out, with a curious look on her face.
"Hello..." They all said in unison.
"Where is Frank? I have to speak to him!" I shouted at them.
"You called?" A familiar voice purred from behind me.
"What the Hell happened to my clothes?" I yelled. I turned around, to see him, with a full face of makeup, a corset, fishnets, and the same leather jacket he offered last night. My jaw dropped as he walked toward me. He extended his arms out for a hug, his adorable smile spread across his face. I felt my arms twitch in an attempt to hug him back, but I resisted, and backed up. His expression seemed to flip, which led to a frown and a sigh, followed by a folding of his arms. (See cover picture :P)
"Don't be upset." He replied in a sincere voice. "I wasn't the one who undressed you if that's what you're uncomfortable with."
I wouldn't have minded that much. "Well who did then?!"
"Columbia!" He shouted back, pointing at the girl with pink hair. She smiled and waved excitedly.
"Why?!" I shouted back louder.
"BECAUSE!" He yelled as loud as he could. I heard the girl in the maid out fit drop her paintbrush, and Columbia let out a high pitch squeal. There was an awkward pause, as I started at him. He let out a happy laugh, and I did the same. He reached down and grabbed my hands in his own. "If you must know, I did it simply so you wouldn't freeze in your sleep. The castle isn't very well heated, especially on a cold rainy night like last night."
I let out a smile, and took a deep breath of relief. and looked up at his face, which was no longer flustered, but kind and pleasant. He moved his hands up to my shoulders, and wrapped one around me, placing a light grip on my upper arm. I felt my face heat up as he began walking me back out of the doorway we had originally came through. Without moving his arm, we walked through the castle. Once we reached the elevator, He removed his warm arm from my shoulder, leaving me cold again. He held open the accordion door for me and gestured for me to walk through it. I entered, and he followed, pulling the lever to make the elevator start wit a jolt.
During our conversations on our walk through the castle, the whole make-up situation was never brought up. "So..." I started, causing him to turn to me and give me a curious look. "I have some questions."
