Chapter 5

¨JAYDA¨Ross yells laughing and running at the same time.

He catches up to me, picks me up over his shoulder and throughs me into the pool. 

He falls to the floor dyeing of laughter.

Right as he stands up Ryland and Rocky swoops him off of his feet and throughs him into the pool.

Everyone jumped in and the song ¨If by R5¨ came on.

Ryland and I got out of the pool and put the colorful razor lights out on the deck.

After a while we all ended up dancing on the concrete by the pool.

¨Everyone but Ross.¨

We were all jumping up and down singing to the songs that came on.

A song from Taylor Swift came on and Riker jumped onto one of the deck chairs and garbed a Twixt bar and used it as a mic.

It was literally the funniest thing ever.

I saw that Ross was on his phone texting someone.

¨Ill be right back¨ I tell Rydel

I sit in the chair right across from Ross ¨Is something wrong¨ I ask him.

He looks at me and then his phone ¨No im fine¨ he says biting his thumb nail and scrolling down on a text.

¨Is there something that you want to tell me?¨

I try and give him a chance to tell me about the girl in New Mexico and who he is texting, but he just kept saying ¨There is nothing wrong and nothing to tell you, im just a little tired that all.¨

I didn't believe him one bit but I just got up and walked into the house.

As I was walking away I turned back and said to him ¨I know about the girl that you were talking to in Mexico. Thats probably her that your texting inst it, but you just dont want to tell me.¨ and I felt a tear escape from my eye as I turned back.

¨You dont know anything Jayda so stop being such a no-it-all¨ Ross yells at me.

Ross said it pretty loud to where everyone heard him and they stopped dancing. 

They looked at me and I ran.

I ran as fast as I could and didn't look back.

I ran into me and Rydels room and locked the door behind me.

I got a backpack and put some clothes in it and ziped it up.

I heard knocking at the door and asked who it was.

It was Rydel.

¨Are you okay Jayda¨ she says sounding worried.

¨No, and I dont think I can stay here anymore. At least not here.¨

¨Why¨ she says.

¨I cant stay here knowing that the person the I really like and care about lies to me. 

Especially about an ex girlfriend.

I dont know how or why but I think im in love with him.¨ I say.

She said something but I couldn't really hear it because I climbed out of the window.

I jumped off the side of the house and ran down the street.

I stooped for a second to breath and looked up at the stares.

I put in my ear buds and R5s song ¨One Last Dance¨ came on.

I got to the park and got on the swing looking at the stars playing ¨one last dance¨ over and over again.

I cried the hole time thinking about what happened.

I think im in love with Ross, I say to myself whispering under my breath.

Rydels POV

¨Jayda come on, open the door¨ I  say 

I hear nothing but silence.

Thats it I hear nothing but silence I yell to Rocky, Ryland and Ellington.

¨What do you mean¨ Ellington says.

That means that you need to find something to open this door.

Like right know, I yell at them even more.

Everyone was trying to get the door open while Riker was with Ross.

I run down stairs and tell Riker and Ross ¨Jayda is either gone or she has done something stupid.¨

¨What do you mean she was just here¨ Riker says.

¨yeah well she locked herself in my room and she hasn't said anything else since she told me that she loved you Ross.¨

¨What¨ Ross says looking shocked.

He finally reliesed what he did and he ran upstairs with Riker and I.

Ross POV

¨Jayda open the door. Please open the door.¨

Ryland finally got the door open and everyone rushed in.

¨Shes not here¨ Rydel says crying a little.

¨The window is open guys. Shes gone¨ Rocky says. 

Hey guys thanks for reading. I didnt want to make this a really long chapter because I didnt want to give a lot away. But I promise the next one will has a lot more excitement. There will be tears shed and hearts broken but at the end things will settle down with a person who really cares about Ross. and Remember
