¨Is there something that we can do?¨ I ask the doctor
¨Im afraid not, the only thing you could do for her right know is just get her family here and pray¨
I stand up and walk towards the door.
¨Well thank you for telling us, we appreciate it very much¨ I say sounding sad.
As im walking down the hall, a little girl that looked just like Jayda was walking in.
¨OMG are you Rydel, like the famous Rydel, the one in R5?¨ she says jumping up and down.
I wipe my eye and bend down.
¨Yeah im am sweetie, how are you?¨
¨well im great know, im just coming in for chemo.¨ she says with a smile.
I cant believe this little sole, this little girl has cancer.
¨How old are you¨ I ask her.
¨Im 6, my birthday is next week and I cant wait.¨ she says.
¨Well since we live close here maybe I can stop by and say hi for a little bit.¨
¨okay, bye¨
¨Bye¨ I say waving back at her.
I get to the waiting room and see Ross crying in the corner.
I sit next to him and put my hand on his shoulder.
¨Its going to be okay Ross¨
¨How do u know¨ he asks wiping his tears
¨because Jayda is strong. She can survive anything that gets in her way. She is smart, tough, courageous. You know what can I tell you something.¨ I tell him
¨I guess¨ he says.
¨But you half to promise not to tell anyone¨
¨Okay, but is it bad?¨
¨Yeah. The reason why Jayda really came here, was because she found her father. Her real father back in South Carolina¨
¨Why, what he say?¨
¨Well, when she found him on Face Book, he told her all of these crazy stuff that wasnt true. He told her that her mother took her away from him just to get back at him for breaking up with him.¨ I said.
¨Why would he do that, is it true?¨ he says with worrie in his voice .
