"When I'm away from you, I'm happier than ever."

"You finally used my number", Hoseok says, a little too happy as he looks at Taehyung from his desk chair. He was in the middle of doing an essay when the Omega texted him he was coming over. He had Namjoon, who's his roommate and next-door neighbor, open the back door for Taehyung and lead him up to his room. The omega looks just as cute sober and in his everyday wear.

"Your call yesterday got me thinking", Hoseok swirls around in his chair, spinning around and around as he was speaking until Taehyung comes over and stops it, trapping the alpha between him and the swirly chair.

"Listen, I was completely serious with what I said. I expect you to be as well. I want Min Yoongi to finally grow up and be someone Jimin will be able to love again, without having any regrets. Can you help me with that?" Taehyung's eyes don't leave Hoseok's playful ones that start to match his serious vibes.

Relationship help is the last thing you'd expect to go to Hoseok about, but in truth, he might be the wiser of the two. He's been in so many just so he has someone to sleep around with. A home wrecker, a false committer, and who's definitely not tied down by any romantic emotions. He might be able to assist, and that is what Tae is counting on.

"I can try, but don't expect much. Yoongi is stubborn", Hoseok lightly pats his lap, signaling to Tae to sit on it but the Omega opts out to sit on his messily made bed.

Taehyung's body language is so much different now than it was at the party a few days ago. It's less inviting and he doesn't know whether to take it as a challenge or give up. He rather goes for the easy lay, and Taehyung isn't coming off as one anymore. Then again, he wasn't coming off as one as much at the party either. The omega constantly refused his request to take things back to his dorm or one of the house's rooms. He settled for kisses and small touches, and a real conversation. That's not normal for the usual playboy that is Jung Hoseok.

"I already know Yoongi is stubborn. That's no surprise. Jimin is the same, so I have experience dealing with people like him. Tell me something new." Taehyung doesn''t want to waste any time. He has classes in 3 hours and wants to get started on planning what to do about Yoongi and Jimin.

"Sorry, that came off rude. I just want to get the ideas rolling. Seeing Jimin-... Nothing. Do you have any ideas?" Taehyung glances around the alpha's room and he notices it isn't as messy as he thought it would be. When Jimin described Hoseok to him for the first time, all he could imagine was how the place might look like a pigsty filled with condoms. It really grossed him out and he was avoiding said alpha just from the thought alone, now here he is in the room he didn't expect to be so tidy.

"You know what happened between them, right", Hoseok asks and Tae nods so he continues, "then you should know why it made it to that conclusion, but you can't tell Yoongi that I told you any of this. He'll kill me for blabbing about his personal life."

Tae relates to that. Jimin hates it when he talks so much about what they exchanged in private, but in his defense, he only blabs about the less important and private things like Jimin dramatically saying he rather do anything else than something else. He finds it amusing, but maybe he should refrain from saying so much sometimes before Jimin offs him over it.

Hoseok goes to his mini-fridge with the help of his rolling chair and grabs two sodas and hands one to Tae to drink before he starts talking again about Yoongi.

"The incident happened during their senior year, around the 6-month mark of them being together, but for two years Yoongi wasn't doing so well mentally. He kept it a secret from Jimin, but his parents were splitting. He told me they had fought in the past but as he got close to graduating school, things between them just progressively got worse", Hoseok looks like he's reliving the day Yoongi told him what was going on in his home life.
