The silence woke me up. Unusual. I had two choices. Get up and solve the "mystery of the silence" in my house or accept the fate in which I might end up dead and sleep. I was about to choose the second one but it was too late. My mind was awake. The hardest part is waking up remembering something what you were trying to forget last night. Cage. Guess the distraction didn't last long. Removing the covers I started walking towards the washroom.

I slipped into a yellow sundress with straps. I started applying mascara and eyeliner. "How am I looking Henry?" I asked my cat. He meowed unamused and walked towards the window. He jumped and vanished.
Meanieee.....
I walked downstairs. No one was home. What a relief!! I guess they have already gone to their office.
I quickly grabbed my toast and shoved it in my mouth.
I am late!! I grabbed my bag and walked as fast I could and reached the library in 10 minutes. My heart racing at the pace I was walking.
I was fifteen minutes late!
" You are late Aura" hissed my friend/employee glaring at me. " look at the people waiting Aura. Tsk tsk. Careless" he nodded his head dissapointed.
I sighed and opened the lock. And people started entering mumbling something to each other.
" It's not a big deal kenny. I was just fifteen minutes late" I pouted.
" Really Aura!? Thirty seconds more and they could have murdered me. They are maniacs Aura. Freaking nerds!! Bookworms!! They are more dangerous than psychopaths. Good thing they stay in their own world." I couldnt control my laughter seeing kenny panic.
He glared at me and turned to start his day. Making coffee... Uhmmm... Kenny makes the best coffee in the whole world. Thats why I hired him.
Yeah.. You guessed it right. I am a librarian. I am the owner of "Böchord" A library where books amd coffee are provided. Technically it was my grandfather's. He left it to me after he passed away. At first it was just a library. But after tasting Kenny's coffee I decided to make it a part of my library. I remodeled and put all the coffee equipment kenny needed and business bloomed. Why wouldn't it? A place filled with coffee aroma and thousands of books to read? Who wouldnt fall in love with this place. I am glad the library was huge.
Kenny made my coffee and gave it to me. I went to my counter and started my work.
