I'd hop into the car sluggishly, me and my family are moving to a new town called Elmore and I hated it, I didn't want to leave my friends but it was too late to tell them bye. I'll just text them, that works too but it isn't as special as it is in person.
I looked outside the window of the car as we drove off, my fond memories of this town making me tear up as the town faded from view. It was kind of late at the moment, it's around 6-7ish so I suspected we would arrive at around 10 O'clock.
Eventually my parents spoke up, "Are you ready to meet new people?" My dad asked, "Not really, they probably wouldn't like me." I replied, looking at my (Paws/Hands/claws). "Come on, it won't be that bad!" My mom encouraged, "Yeah, But it's probably true." I responded, I heard my mom say 'It won't be that bad!' Ever since I was a little (Puppy/Kitten/Other).
"I'm sure she'll cheer up when she sees our new house." My dad said to my mother, "Yeah, this one has two stories, (Y/N)!" My mom said to me, I've always wanted to have a two story house, so this was a pleasant surprise.
As we drove it got later and later, it was now dark and we were passing through a city. I'd watched the beautiful city lights as I traveled, it was like a dream I never wanted to wake up from. I then dozed off...
