"Hum sab is faisle me Ishita ke saath hain. Tera saath koun dega?" The Bhallas surrounded Ishita and held her hand supporting her against Raman while he stood facing them all alone.
A hand emerged from beside him, wrapped around his hand and brought it forward to show the Bhallas that there was someone to support Raman. Raman looked at the person and smiled tightening the hold.
"Raman ye aap...." Ishita began to ask.
"I am sorry Ishita. I respect you a lot but......I love Shagun"
said Raman engulfing Shagun in his arms."Hughhhh"
Ishita woke up startled. She looked around the dark room dimly lit with the nightlight. She found herself on the couch and Raman sprawled on the king size bed embracing a pillow. There were no other Bhallas, nor was Shagun around.

I am sorry Ishita. I respect you a lot but.....I love Shagun
kept roaring in her ears.
What if it is true? What if Raman is still in love with Shagun? What if his love rekindles with her presence around him?The entire night she spent in asking baseless questions to herself and reminiscing events that had not been a cause of concern to her earlier but now left a serious impact on her growing insecurity.
The distance between the couch and the bed had never bothered her as much as it did today. She wished she could cover that distance and lie in his embrace securely with the assurance that he was there - with her and for her. Her gaze remained fixed at Raman who was cluelessly having a sound sleep, as she asked him in her mind
