we don't take no 1/3 of the year golf day vacations
my generation
we know whats good
with any given time, place, or livelihood
my generation
are the ones that show up with gratuity
it's you and me
that will turn ugly into beauty
we are present in any time or place
we take up what will become of the human race
we arent scared to face or take as much as we can brace
because we have seen and lived all of history
seen the sacrifices given for me
through the eyes of my elders
who try to protect us
but can no longer provide such shelter
the youth will keep growing it wont stop it wont falter
and its course will never be altered
my generation
we have to change it all
we have to be full of shine
shine that will blind
because we are the next step
and we are the divine
