Piggyback

I raced through the woods and turned behind me. I knew that it (no not the clown lol) was following me through the thick trees. I turned around once more and when I turned around while running, I did the typical scary movie thing: tripping and falling. I quickly stood up but then felt two strong arms wrap around my waist. I let out a blood-curdling scream that could have attracted people from all around the globe. Goodbye world, I thought as I fell onto the ground.
"Come on Y/N don't be such a drama queen. Get up or I'm going to pick you up myself," Manu said with a chuckle.

"No, leave me. I am prepared for my death sentence. I see the light. I can hear death calling me. Goodbye cruel world," I said with a dramatic sigh.
"Y/N get up its started to get dark and I have to get you home or else your parent will get mad."

"No fair I just wanted to play a simple game of hide-and-seek, but nooooo Mr.Rios wants to be able to find me in 10 seconds. It was supposed to be an easy game for me and you ruined it for me," I said while fake cry and still on the floor.

"Alrighty then," Manu said while picking me up.
"MANU LET ME GO RIGHT NOW OR I WILL KICK YOU IN THE FACE AND FEED YOU TO THE FISHES IN THE POND," I yelled out angrily.
"Whoa how scary. Oh no the fishies are going to eat me I'm so terrified. What up with your weak threats. You usually say that you're going to turn me into a pile of skittles with the majestic unicorn powers that the powerful potato gave to you."

"Manu seriously let me go onto the ground this is not making me comfortable. I hate when people carry me, especially you."

Manu immediately placed me into the ground carefully and apologized. He said that he didn't mean to make me uncomfortable and that he just meant it as a joke. I was not paying attention and started speed walking towards my house. Manu ran beside me and started to tell me apologizes.

"Please forgive me I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable. "

"It's okay," I lied.
"No, it's not I can see the discomfort on your face. Can you just tell me why you don't like it when people carry you?"
"It's just- I just feel like I'm too heavy for people to handle and even though they tell me I weigh nothing, I am still very insecure. My family has been telling me that I should lose more weight or you wouldn't like me. That's why I have been wearing baggy clothes and not eating the whole fridge like before,"I let out a fake laugh.
"But it's okay, I mean I lost a few pounds so it's all right. Just don't pick me up okay?"

"Y/N never say that again okay? You are literally perfect the way you are and you are never too heavy for me. I mean like have you seen these muscles?" Manu said with a cocky tone.
I let out a genuine laugh and said yes. I started to realize that people will not judge me because of my weight and that I should be happy for myself the way I am. I should not let anyone else make decisions for me and that I don't have to listen to my parents over my weight because if I'm happy they should be too.

"Alright let's go pretty little lady," Manu said while walking in front of me. He started to go a little farther and I took the chance to surprise him. I jumped on his back and surprisingly he did not fall/. He continued walking like nothing happened and I smiled. I kissed his neck in a sweet kind of way and he smiled brightly.
"I love you."

"I love you more."

"Impossible."
