It was a calm and quiet day. All the houses in the suburban neighbourhood had unique colour schemes and designs, but there were two similarities they were all lined up evenly along the black road and appeared to be only one-story tall.
In the Martin house, Valka was currently working in the backyard garden, putting in some new lavender flowers and roses into the garden beds. She didn't mind doing the garden, but it was too quiet without Braedey around the home. He made jobs around the house so much easier.
Just then, the doorbell rang, getting the Martin woman's attention. She cleaned her hands and knees of the dirt on them, and headed off to the front door. "Hello?" He opened the door, and to his surprise, there was Braedey standing there at the doorway, albeit with a couple of scars and bruises across his form, his black shirt having three claw marks ripped across his chest, whilst his jeans had some dirt patches on them, and he looks like he's been in the fight of his life. "Braedey..." Valka muttered.
"Hey, Mum." Braedey grinned a little. "Sorry if I'm interrupting something."
A moment later, the brunette shapeshifter was now in the kitchen, whilst Valka was getting a cup of coffee. She looked over to her son, and could see him patching up some of his wounds he had obtained from Isla Nublar, getting some bandages across his chest and arms, whilst adding pain relief cream on his wounds.
"So, what happened to you, Braedey?" She asked. She was rather curious as to how her son had gotten the markings, bite marks, scars, and bruises. He was a bit of a bruiser, but not badly to be of concern.
Over the next few minutes, Braedey began to explain to Valka about meeting John Hammond, owner of InGen, who had offered him and the group of Youkai Academy to come along and see his latest theme park, JurassicPark. Then, he explained about the dinosaurs breaking out, having to hide in the trees, meeting up with the Dino Hybrids and meeting their queen, Ginormica, along with dealing with a breed of dinosaur known as Troodon. Finally, he and the Rex battled against a hybrid beast called the Indominus Rex, and managed to finally get off the island.
Valka sighed in relief, knowing her son and his friends made it out alive, and got off the island with only a few cuts and bruises. Just then, the doorbell rang again. "Hmm. I wonder who it might be. Coming!" She walked over to the door, as Braedey got himself a drink of cola.
"Oh, Hello there, Moka!"
Braedey's eyes snapped open, then spat out his drink. He then sprinted over to the front door, seeing his mother standing by the doorframe, and to his surprise, there was Moka standing there, a smile on her face.
