"Sister, I send you to get one, you come back with two" a young boy who resembled Jane glanced over to Lola and Bella "and two halves. Clever girl"

"Two halves make a whole" Lola muttered, unable to keep the sarcasm from seeping into her voice.

Alec narrowed his eyes at the wolf. Her scent gave her away.

"Why a happy surprise!" A childish voice rang out, Bella's and Lola's head snapped towards a raven haired man "Bella is alive after all"

The man had long black hair that reached just beneath his shoulders. He was small, taller than Lola, but still small. His eyes were more of a milky red. As if his age had affected them. He was paler too. The man had a grin on his face that could put the Cheshire Cat's to shame. Although he looked friendly, something about him made her want to run in the opposite direction.

The man clasped his hands together, while walking towards Edward "Isn't that wonderful?" He grasped Edwards hand, making Bella gasp " I do love happy endings. They are so rare."

Lola tuned out of what they were saying, her green orbs focused of the platinum blonde. His cold, red eyes stared into her daring, green irises. His eyes were clouded with an unreadable emotion. The brunette kept her eyes locked with his crimson orbs, a stare down. Neither one backing down. Caius grasped his arm chair hard enough to make the marble crack. She furrowed her eyebrows.

He was the source of the scent. She shifted Mason in her arms, unsure of how to handle the situation. Lola felt a pull to the man before her.

Caius on the other hand, was pissed. A wolf for a mate. It was disgraceful. No vampire has ever been mates to a shifter. But even through his disgust, he felt slightly possessive over the woman that stood before him. Caius being, well...Caius, didn't let his feelings get in the way of anything. He was stubborn, hard-headed, and hateful. The platinum blonde was to stubborn to let go of his hate for shifters, so naturally, he glared.

He glared at her with all of the hateful fibres in his body. Lola was taken aback by his sudden mood change, unsure of what to do, she narrowed her eyes and let her lips cut upwards to a smirk. She wasn't about to cower in fear in front of a vampire. Nuh-uh, no way. Lola was far to proud.

"Whose this?" The raven haired man asked, breaking the staring, well glaring, competition between the two mates.

"Aro" Marcus's raspy rang out.

Aro turned to face his brother. Marcus had long brown hair and looked to be in his 50's-ish. His eyes were sad and full of sorrow and regret. He looked as if he was constantly grieving.

The sad king held his hand out to his brother. Aro bfurrowed his brows and grasped his brother's hand in both of his own. Aro's eyes glazed over as he stared into space. He gasped slightly as he released his hand. Aro turned to his brother with a shit eating grin. He had this power-crazed glint in his eyes.

"Your hand, my dear?" He held out his hand, leaving no room for question.

Lola, not wanting to piss this guy off with her son in the room, reluctantly gave him her hand.

He closed his eyes, basking in the knowledge he was gaining. He let go of her hand before turning to his brother.

"La tua cantante" he whispered before turning back to Lola.
