They drove in his sleek, dark green sports car for quite a few hours. The sky was a clear blue and Green Day's Youngblood could be heard coming through the speakers. He had removed his mask and pushed back his hood. She was filling him in on all the details of her adventurous day.

"Did he really say that?" Oliver asked, his eyes finding hers. "'I can't tell which is hotter'? That is such a cheesy pick up line!"

"I know! I couldn't believe it, even in the debilitated state he was in!" Kara giggled. "So at that point I knew I had to say something. So I told him I was already in a relationship."

"Well good. But he already knew and that didn't stop him?!" he shook his head. "The nerve of that perv!" he growled, white-knuckling the steering wheel.

"Oliver, you said you wouldn't get mad." Kara pouted.

"I know, I'm not mad. But why didn't Superman come with you to get him?"

"I don't know." Kara shrugged. "Both of us flew around looking for him. But Kal looked exhausted. When we finally spotted Hal, I told him to fly back to the satellite and rest, I would get Hal. I was surprised he actually took me up on the offer."

"Incredible. Perhaps the Girl of Steel is a bit stronger than even her cousin?" Oliver arched one of his eyebrows at her. "I mean, you were on Krypton a lot longer than him. So, if your strength comes from living on a planet with stronger gravity, then—well, obviously you'd be much stronger."

"Well yes, that's true," Kara said, considering. "But at the same time, he's been living under this yellow sun longer than I have. I think it evens out in the end."

"Maybe. Only one way to find out," he said.

"Really? What's that?"

"Arm-wrestle him."

"What? No way, that's stupid. Besides, if I won, how would you ever know if I really won, or if he just let me win?"

"That is possible, and that sounds like him too. The perfect gentleman. But, I still think you should do it anyways..."

He had turned off the highway and they were headed down a gravel road that wound it's way through the countryside. The scenery was amazing, it looked like something out of a painting. Majestic mountain ranges, burbling brooks, cedar and pine trees, with little evidence of human activity.

"You know, we could've gotten here faster if you would've just let me fly us," she said. "Where are we going anyways?"

"It's a surprise," Oliver said mysteriously. "And this way I get to spend some quality time with you. Besides, we're almost there."

"You're right. This is really nice," she said, turning to gaze out the tinted windows. "So what have you been busy with this time? Alfred said you couldn't come to the meeting because you were so tired."

"I was taking down a crime syndicate that was using small businesses to launder their dirty money. It turned out the kingpin was a very successful businessman that no one suspected. He was also driving out all the other small businesses with his money and power."

"Gosh, that's terrible. So you successfully broke up a mob? That's awesome!"

"Well, yeah. But I didn't do it alone. I had Diggle, Thea, and Felicity helping me along the way." He finally pulled over and parked by the roadside. The air was fresh and pine scented. "Come on," he said, giving her a smile. "We have to walk the rest of the way."

They got out and he took her hand in his and began leading her down a wooded lane, scattered with pine needles and dotted with pine-cones.

"You know, I realized something today," he said, breaking the silence.

"Hmm? What's that Ollie?" Kara said, still trying to figure out where they were going.

"I realized just how special you are to me. And Hal may be a total douche-nozzle, but he was right about one thing, Kara. You are a princess. But I've been wondering, if maybe..." He stopped walking and his blue eyes met hers. "...you'd like to be a Queen?"

"Ohmygosh." Kara's eyes went wide. "Oliver, are you asking me to marry you?"

Oliver gave a small smile and lead her further then. "I know I should've asked you sooner. But I wanted to wait until it was finished."

Just then, the woods opened up to a clearing. In the distance, aglow with the dusky light of the setting sun, was a lovely log cabin.

"With three solar panels on the roof providing the electricity, it runs completely off the grid. It also collects rainwater in the back and stores it in a big tank for the toilets and showers. The counter-tops are made from recycled materials. Four bedrooms, two baths." He turned to face her again. "I was hoping you could share it with me. We could raise a family here." He said, his voice soft.

"Oliver it's perfect..." She whispered. Then her hand squeezed his tightly. "You want to have kids? With me?"she asked, tears welling up in her eyes. "I want to have kids with you too. I really do. But...Oliver. I wonder if that's the right thing to do, at this point. We both know the world is headed in the wrong direction. And there are already so many orphans out there that need a good home..."

"Then we'll just have to adopt them all," he smiled, wiping away her tears with his hands.

She smiled too. He understands. God, he really is the best.

"I love you so much," she said. But there was something else that was bothering her too. "But what about your job? What about the Arrow?"

"I've decided I'm not going to run again next election."

"But what about Starling? How are you going to protect it?"

"Starling is fine," he assured her, his beard lit by the sunset behind them. "I crossed off all the names in my father's book. Starling is getting so tame, Thea can handle it by herself."

"Really?" Kara asked. She couldn't believe it was true. "Oliver, I'm stunned. This place is amazing." She looked to the cabin once more. "I can't wait to see the inside."

"The water and lights don't work yet. And there's no furniture either. But there is a queen size bed in the master bedroom...." he smiled seductively, his eyebrow arching again. "But first, I want to give you this—" he said, procuring a small ring from a hidden pocket in his suit. He took her left hand and slipped it on her finger.

"Ollie! It's beautiful!"she exclaimed. Even in the dim light, she could see the diamonds sparkling.

"I'm glad you like it. It's a family heirloom. I had it refinished for you."

"I love it. I absolutely love it."

"So...you will marry me then?"

"Yes, of course I will Ollie," she said. Then she threw her arms around his neck and kissed him. After a moment she pulled away. "Now..." she said, pulling down the zipper of his jacket, "...let's go test out the springs in that mattress."

"
