I been trapped in the this old town for days and the outside world is trying to free us but we can't be freed. We are stuck under a dome. A dome that is bigger than seven statues of libertys stack on top of one another. My name is Donnie, but most people might call me crazy ass because what I did before the dome came down. It might kill the town.

Now what I did is not smart, but in my defense, I was angry. What I did was cut off the pipes to the water tower and fill it with trash and gasoline, but that is not the big problem. The big problem is I got caught and got locked up the day the dome came down, too. I missed a lot during the first week of what people are calling the dark times. When I first heard the dome come down, I thought we were under attack. I thought where is my family? Am I gonna make it? But when the police let out all the juveniles out, and I saw what happened. I knew there was no escaping the dark times.

When I was released from the prison and saw that there was no escaping the dark times, I ran. I ran like my life depended on it. Where was I running to? I don't know. I'm stuck in this town and the only place can go is home.

So i ran home to see if my family was home waiting for me to see if I still had some one to protect me. When i got to the steps of my house something was wrong the door was opened wide. I stepped inside the house and looked around the house to see nothing but destruction. Everything was messed up the TV was knocked over, holes in the wall, windows knocked out. What happened while I was gone? I went through the house to see if anybody was home. Then I found a note. The note was from someone in my family. There was no signature from who wrote the note.

Here is what the note said:

Donnie,
