Trapped

Kendra's Escape

Donnie's P.O.V.

I fall to the floor and start blinking rapidly. I start mumbling things then pass out, but when after I woke up from my sleep, I am in a room. Its night. There is picture of the dome and its from the inside there is one with me and kendra under the tree. We were both asleep. I look close at the picture and see that there is a shadowy figure behind Kendra's body. But thats not all. Kendra's eyes are open but they are pure black. "

"What the hell?",I thought.

I turn around in the small room looking for a door. All that is in there is a bed, dresser, and a TV. I go in the dresser and open the top drawer. Nothing in there besides a picture of a lady at a lake. I close the drawer and go to the next one. The drawer has nothing in it besides another picture with the same lady at the same lake but the lake looks different. The water was redish, purple looking. I go to the next drawer. Same thing. Again nothing but a picture with the lady at the pond, but the lake is glowing bright. I go to the next drawer and the same thing as the rest of the drawers. A picture with the lady at the lake with a caption,"Stay away from the lake during the first suicide." Then the picture starts glowing. I close my eyes. When I open my eyes. I am outside the room but there is a girl with an axe running towards me .

Kendra's P.O.V

I wake up from the incridble nightmare I just lived and looked around. I'm in a forest with beautiful mountians, butterflies, lady bugs. All around there are deers, moose,and rabbits. They are drinking from this beautiful water. There are bushes and big trees, then a flood happened. I get up and walk around and touch the animals. They came towards me and lick my arms. I laugh forgetting that I just witnessed three baby boys die just a couple hours ago. I have the strangest feeling about something. I look futher out of the forest and see a big fish bowl with people in it.

"What is going on? Wait. Does this mean I'm out of the dome?",I thought.

I pinch myself to see if i was dreaming. I'm not dreaming but I thought the bomb burnt everything over where the forest lies now. It looks like the bomb was never here. I walk over to the dome and touch it. It shocks me a little bit but I keep my hands on it and I see a storm. Then I see time passing by. I see that when you are inside the dome time is different. From the outside, I turn around and ran towards the forest till I was back to where I was. I ran again and the same thing happened. I am stuck in this forest. I started to cry; I fell to the ground.

Donnie's P.O.V

I am panicking on what I should do.

I then noticed that the girl is on the other side of the dome. I run to the dome and start waving my hands and jumping up and down and shouting, but it only makes her run faster.

She is less than two yards away from the dome .

I decided to stop trying to help and watch her.

She runs right into the dome wall and disappears into a pile of dust.

My mouth hangs open in astonishment. I turn around and go back to the house. I look up to the roof trying to figure out how to get in but can't.

I look around for the picture but I can't find it. I finally decide to get a rock and break the walls to get back in. It took me a few tries before I got in. I step in the room got the pictures out the drawers and ran out the hole in the wall .

I will be the one to escape the dark times. I see animals drinking from a lake. I walk closer to them. They come closer to me. My stomach started growling. I guess I have to eat.

I look around and spotted a fawn grazing by the dome. I walk over to it and petted it. It licked my hand . I grabbed its head and slammed it into the dome. It started to bleed. I pulled it away and laid it on the ground. I found some rocks and sticks and made a fire. I tore the fawn open and held over the fire like a marshmallow during a campfire gathering. I ate the deer leg and laid down. I was full and dozing off. The breeze wasn't helping. It made it even harder for me to sleep. Then I hear someone crying. My eyes open and jump up. I turn to the direction of the cry. I instantly knew who it was . I run to her but I hit the dome. I get up and rub my head. I looked at Kendra and then the shadowy figure from the picture was behind Kendra. I yell and bang on the dome .

"No! Kendra move! Behind you! Move!"
