A Surprised Death

Army Man P.O.V

This plan has to work. We spent all our money towards this dumb ass plan. It has to work. We can't mess this up. We shoot in ten seconds. Ten. Maybe I should leave instead of shooting. Seven. Yes, I am going to leave. Four. Its too late, I can't leave. One. I fired at the dome. It hit it. The explosion back fired. We didn't back up far enough from the dome. We are caught in a fiery blaze. My tank flips over. I smell gas that doesn't seem good. I try to reach for my seat belt but the tank blew up in seconds. I'm the air, body everywhere. I land on the ground, blood flowing from the left over remains of my head. With the last of my life, I look up at the dome to see if the plan worked. It didn't. There's a big gust of wind swirling in there but I can't do anything. I close my eyes and cry till I'm gone. Till' the tears on my face dries up, till' the sound of my sobs are silenced by death itself.

Kendra's P.O.V

Donnie is laying there motionless. Why, the sky fills with water. Water? We are under a dome. How can water come through.

I look to Donnie for the answer but I don't hear much from him. Zachary picks me up and takes me underneath the sewer where the city has been hiding out during the whole thing. I realize later on in the sewer that there's no hiding from this dome and there's no way to protect your newborn kids from the dome too, the dark times is gonna kill us all. Maybe sooner for others.

Donnie's P.O.V

I wake up in a musty smelling place. Its dripping with greyish water. I think this is the sewer. I get off the bed and fall to the floor holding my stomach. My face falls into the water. I roll over in agony gasping for breath. I yell for help.  No one comes. I hold on to the bed and pull myself up from the nasty water and I walk over to one of the hallways. I walk forward into a wall and pass out.

I once again wake up in a bed. I look around see if someone else is down here in the room. No one is here. How did I get in this bed? I get up from the bed, this time I'm not in a lot of pain. I walk over to where I fallen and touch the in front of me so I  won't hit what ever that was in front of me. I touched something hot and soft. I look around and see that I was no longer in the room with the bed. I was on the other side of this field. I realize that the field I was touching was the dome. I can't believe it I just touched the dome and it didn't kill me. Wait. Now how in the hell did I just get from the other side of the dome? I was stumped. How that question seemed weird? How did I get from the other side of the dome? Maybe its a touch based.  I don't know but I got to find the others.

Kendra's P.O.V

I'm crying. I don't know why I'm crying but I can't stop. I see three babies playing with each other. I call out to them I yell out there names but unable to remember the three names.  they crawl over to me naked.  I can clearly see that they all are boys. They crawl into my arms  then they fall asleep. I kiss them all and sit them down on the floor. Then the dome comes down, killing two of them and injuring the last one. I yell and yell and yell. I rush over to them and hold them close and cry. I cry myself to sleep and don't wake up again for a long, long time but when I wake up,  sometime in the future I wish I would of stayed sleep.
