I end up taking him to the library. I spend a lot of my time in here.

We sit on one of the couches in the middle of the room. "So tell me Ezra Blackwood, what brought you here?" I ask him. My legs lay across his lap, and he runs his hands up and down them.

"Well, you did." he says and looks at me. "About a month ago, my pack announced that the king was looking for the best of the best. No one knew why. Everyone had to go through trials and tests by the royal guards. I was lead warrior at my pack." He says.

I interrupt his story. "What pack are you from?" I ask him.

He smiles at me. "Night Storm,"

I shudder. Night Storm is one of the most fearless packs out there. They are ranked top when he comes to warriors. They start training when they are 10. It's a great honor and very hard to become Lead Warrior in that pack.

"Impressive," I comment.

He flashes me a smile. "I was picked to come here and serve the king. My family was upset but they understood it was something I had to do."

I reach out and take his hand. I place a kiss on his knuckles. "I'm sorry you had to leave your family."

"It was worth it. I met my mate."

"How old are you? I'm sure you know that I'm 18. They seem to advertise everything about my life to the public."

He chuckles. "I'm 26."

"Holy crap," I start but can't find the words to finish. "You had to wait 8 years to find me?" I ask. He nods his head.

"It's because someone wasn't grown up yet!" He teases. I move to straddle his lap.

"I'm glad I found you," I tell him honestly.

"I am too," He leans forward, and our lips find each other. Our lips move against each other. It's amazing, especially for a first kiss. We get a little heavy, but I soon stop us.

We are both panting when we pull back.

I smile and looking up at the ceiling, I scream "BEST FIRST KISS EVER!!"

Ezra eventually had to leave to go learn about his new duties as Head Guard. My wolf is so full of enjoy. She can't wait to see him again, and I can't agree with her more. Ezra is unlike anyone I've ever met before, he's truly amazing. I'm so lucky to have him as my mate.

My peace in the library was disturbed when one of my new guards came to get me for dinner.

There's a knock on the door, breaking my train of thought. "Yes?" I call out. The door opens seconds later, and Peter sticks his head in.

"I've come to get you for dinner Princess,"

"Thank you," I say as I get up and walk towards the door. I start walking down to the dining hall when I notice that Peter is walk a few steps behind me. I stop suddenly and turn around.

"Peter..."I start, my eyebrows furrowed together.

    "Yes, Princess?"

"Why are you walking behind me?"

"Well, because that's what I was informed to do," He answers honestly.

"Please walk alongside of me. I feel like you are stalking me, when you follow behind me."

"Okay, Princess." He says and takes the last few steps and reaching me. I smile gratefully at me. We walk this way, the rest of the way to the dining hall.

My parents and the twins are already there when I get there.

"Hello everyone!" I say as I take a seat at the table. "Where's Arlo?" I ask in confusion.

"He hasn't come down yet," Mother answers me.

I nod my head. I glance behind me and I notice that Peter stands against the door. I smile stiffly. I'm never going to be alone am I?

The door opens and Arlo comes in the room, taking the empty chair next to me. He gives a courtesy smile to my parents.

The maids bring in food for us. Honestly, I don't like this type of lifestyle. I don't like having maids. So I've requested that I don't have any. Mother is the same way. The maids are simply here when we don't have enough time to do things ourselves or if we have an important event happening.

We all make conversation while eating. Just a like a normal family would. Dinner is my favorite part of the day, it's one of the only times everyone is themselves.

Arlo turns to me, as we are finishing up our meals. "So I heard that you found your mate today,"

I nod my head. "Yes, I did."

    "What's his name?" he asks.

"His name is Ezra Blackwood," I tell him with a smile. I surprised that my brother brought this up. Arlo has been waiting for his mate, for a very long time now. It pains me that he hasn't found his mate yet, the one thing he wants so badly. He spends most of his time alone. The only time we see him, is at family dinners.

"I'm happy for you little sis," he tells me honestly. I smile even though I know I'm about to cry.

I reach over and hug him tightly. We pull back, and I look at him in the eye. "You'll find her soon,"

He smiles grimly. "Thanks, I hope so too."
