We all finish, but that doesn't stop us from talking. It isn't till Lachlan excuses himself, that I realize what time it is.

I stand up, and say goodbye to everyone before heading towards the west wing. Peter walked beside of course.

"Where are you going, Princess?" Peter asks.

"Do you always ask a lot of questions?" I tease him with a smile. He shrugs. "I am going for a walk in the woods."

"I don't think that's very safe or smart," he comments.

"Good thing I have a guard then," I tell him. I turn down the last hall, that leads to the door. There's so many twist and turns in this house, that you can get loss in a matter of seconds.

I turn the door handle, and push the door open. The soft cool breeze runs over my skin. I walk down the stairs of the patio, and onto the grass. I head towards the path in our land.

"I like to come out here every once in awhile to watch the sun go down. It's calming to me," I say more to myself then to Peter.

He walks besides me, silently.

We walk through the woods, following the path. The fallen branches crack underneath the pressure of our feet. It's not long before we reach the bluff that overlooks our little city here. Our pack system is different than described in novels. The Royal family doesn't really belong to a pack, we don't have a pack at all actually. It's as if we belong to every pack. My father, the King, is in charge of all the Alphas, and when needed, the packs.

I reach my usual spot, and sit on top of the bolder. Peter decides to just stand off to the side. I take a deep breath and watch the amazing colored sun slowly disappear. It's peaceful here.

I sit there for what seems like forever, until Peter interrupts my peace.

"Um, Princess..." He starts. I open my eyes, and look over at him. "It's getting dark, and Blackwood said we have to have inside before dark."

My heart jumps at the mention of my mates name. "Fine, I am really tired anyways."

I jump down from the huge rock and follow Peter back through the woods. We reach the grass of my backyard, and speed up my pace. Don't you just hate walking through wet grass, it's like the grossest thing ever.

I quickly reach the patio, and sigh gratefully. I open the sliding door, and step inside. Peter closes it after he comes in after me. I wipe off my feet on the rug laying by the door.

"Thanks Peter," I tell him. He smiles.

"The pleasure is all mine,"

I feel my heart start to race, as my mate appears in the room. I try to hide my smile.

"There you two are!" Ezra says angrily. "We've been looking for you guys everywhere!" He raises his voice, and then turns to Peter. "Why didn't you respond to our mindlinks?"

"I didn't receive any, we aren't connected yet!" Peter holds up his hands in defense.

"Can we all just take a step back and calm down. I'm alright, Peter is alright. Let's move on,"

"My job Princess, is too keep you safe. This can't happen again," His tone is hard.

"If your job was to keep me safe, then why couldn't you find me?" I shoot back, with a glare. He towers above me.

I stare up at him for a few seconds longer, before walking away. "Come along Peter, I'm tired of this bull."

Ezra just gives me a hard look.

I start making my way back to my room, when I notice that Peter is no longer behind me.

I sigh, turning back toward my room again when a hand grabs my wrist. I whip around and pull back, but realize it's just Ezra. I release the breath I was holding in.

"What do you want, Ezra?" I say with sigh as I start walking again.

"What's the attitude?"

"I'm not in the mood. I'm tired and wish to return to my room for rest,"

"Well that can't happen. You're father requests our company in the living room,"

"Just tell him I don't feel well," I answer. I turn down the last hallway to reach my room. When I reach the familiar door, and rest my back on it. I look up at my mate and suddenly all of my hard feelings towards him diminish.

"You're gonna be a handful aren't you?" He asks with a smirk.

"You know it," I say and lean up, kissing him. He puts his hand on my lower back, the other on my cheek. We keep getting closer and closer together until he's touching every part of me.

I moan against him, and pull away. "I'm tired. I'm gonna go sleep," I tell him.

He frowns. "Fine, I better get back anyways. Lots of training to go through."

"Don't over work yourself," I comment. It's his first day here, I don't want him to be stressed out. I turn the handle and open my door. "Goodnight, Ezra."

"What? No 'Goodnight' kiss?" He playfully whines. I lean up and place a kiss on his cheek, before stepping into my room, and closing the door. I lean on the door, and release the breath that I was holding.

"This man is going to be the death of me."
