Seokjin tapped his chin in thought. "So," Everyone turned to him. "When Jungkook 'slept', he got memories." The eldest nodded towards the demon. "Maybe we have to sleep to get memories too."
"But... Jungkook passed out. He didn't just fall asleep." Jimin pointed out. Namjoon agreed with the other's opinion. "Are you saying we need to faint in order to get memories?"
"Just try to sleep. It's a safer route. We don't want to just knock each other out for the sake of knowing our past." Yoongi was already getting ready to go to sleep, making himself comfortable on the ground. "I'll go to sleep first." He mumbled, his eyes starting to close.
After a few seconds, Yoongi's light snores could be heard. "Geez, he falls asleep quick." Jungkook glanced at Yoongi.
"It happens all the time." Hoseok chirped and shrugged at the very common situation. "I guess I'm never gonna get my wings back, huh?" The rest were surprised with how blunt Hoseok was. Even though Hoseok was crying earlier, he seemed to be fine now.
Namjoon spoke up. "Hoseok, we don't know if your wings or Jimin's tail will come back. We don't even know why they disappeared in the first place." Taehyung slumped on the couch he was sitting on, slowly going further down the couch, until he reached the floor.
"I'm bored." Jungkook rolled his eyes at Taehyung's complaint.
"Well, we can't do anything, or we'll wake Yoongi-shi up." Taehyung whined and let out a puff of annoyance.
The six sat in silence, waiting for Yoongi to wake up.
-
I sat up slowly, feeling rather comfortable. Wasn't I sleeping on the floor? Opening my eyes, I was met with a broken down room. Um, hello? The room was definitely not Boksil's apartment. The amount of clothes and chip bags laying around confirmed the statement. Where am I?
There was no sign of anyone in the room, besides me. Hyung? Hoseok? Namjoon? Where is everyone? I had no control over what I was doing as I got off the bed. I walked downstairs and to a kitchen.
A person groaned as they opened the fridge. "Dang it, there's no leftovers." I scratched my head in annoyance. Wait, was that me? "I might as well cook, Boksil's coming later." After I rubbed the sleepiness in my eyes away, I took out a couple of eggs and a rusty pan.
Once I cracked open the eggs, I turned the knob on the stove before walking back upstairs. I screamed internally. Oh my gosh, am I that stupid to just leave the stove on!? I wanted to smack who I figured was my past self. You idiot, are you seriously going to die from a fire that you started?!
I laid down on the bed and closed my eyes, being consumed with darkness. Wake up, you idiot! Wake up! A few seconds passed. I couldn't see anything because 'I' was sleeping. When my past self smelled the smoke, he opened his eyes.
The room was filled with smoke, making me cough. I guessed I didn't a fire alarm (which would have been very helpful) because I didn't hear any ringing. I blinked rapidly, rushing down to the first floor of my house. Bits of ash flew through the house, the smoke now making it harder to see. I'm going to die, I already know it.
The stove was ablaze. The kitchen was completely engulfed with fire. The house was barely recognisable. I covered my mouth with the sleeve of my shirt, squinting my eyes and trying to find the exit.
"Crap, crap, crap! Yoongi Oppa, hurry up!" To my surprise, Boksil was standing at the front door, coughing and breathing heavily. She tried to push the piece of wood that was blocking the door but couldn't. "No! You can't die! Don't die! Please!"
While I ran, one of the supporting beams of the house fell in front of me. I gasped, backing away from the flaming wood. "Yoongi!" Seokjin was now calling for me. Seokjin Hyung? He's here?
"Hyung! G-get Boksil out of here! Leave! Go!" I stumbled backwards and leaned onto a wall.
Boksil cried out, still not being able to move the wood with Seokjin's help. "Yoongi Oppa, please! Try to get out!" I shook my head. I couldn't. This was the fate I was given. It's my time to die.
Without me noticing, fire caught onto my sleeve. I weirdly didn't seem afraid of the heat. "Bye bye, Hyung, Boksil!" I crouched on the ground, the fire spreading to the back of my shirt. "I love you guys, tell the rest I love them too!"
Blisters started to form where the flame had reached. I let out a scream of pain but didn't move. "Yoongi! No!" I looked into Boksil's eyes one more time before the fire consumed me.
-
Yoongi woke up in a coughing fit. "Yoongi Hyung, are you ok?" Hoseok pat Yoongi's back gently, attempting to calm down the coughing.
"I-I had a memory!" Yoongi took in deep breaths, trying to stop coughing.
Seokjin gasped. "I was right! You do get memories when you sleep!" After Seokjin stopped bragging about how he was right, Yoongi sputtered out what had happened in his dream, from start to finish.
-
"Boksil and I were there?" Yoongi nodded his head. "And you died in a fire?" Yoongi nodded again. "And you started that fire because you were cooking?" Seokjin knew it was a serious topic, but he couldn't help but laugh. The angel blushed and looked away.
"Leave Hyung alone." Taehyung pouted as he tugged on Seokjin's arm. "Look at him, he's embarrassed." Now that the demon pointed it out, Yoongi burned even more.
He ruffled his blue hair. "Be quiet, Taehyung-shi." Taehyung's pout grew. While Yoongi was being teased, he spaced out and thought for a second. The demons weren't bad people, at least to him. They didn't seem that sinful or harmful. How did the angels and demons become enemies in the first place?
Jungkook clasped his hands together. "Alright, who's next?" Everyone pointed their finger to Namjoon. Namjoon was shocked when he saw them ganging up on him.
"Wait, what! Why me?"
