"Are you ready for your order to be taken yet?" You said, looking at the 5 boys seated in front of you, waiting for a reply from one of them.
"Um, N-no. I'm not ready yet. Can we have a few more moments, please?" The feathered haired boy said, his blue eyes not leaving yours once though, you noticed, his hands were shaking.
"Okay, I'll be back in a little bit." You said politely, quickly walking to your next table, which just so happened to bea table of drunk men, to take their order. "Ooh," One of them, clearly drunk off his ass, groaned. "Are you gonna be our sla-I mean, waitress, today?" The other men erupted with laughter.
"Yes, my name's y/n. Can I start you off with anything?" You attempted to be as polite as possible before your boss caught you being rude to you customers and yelled at you or, worse, fired you.
"I'd love to have a piece of you, sweet cheeks."
"I'll give you men a few more minutes to decide what you would like because, obviously, you're not ready to order yet." The men continued to laugh as you walked away and you could practically feel their gaze on you as you walked away, causing you to speed up your pace.
You leaned against the wall to try to calm your nerves before you went to take those jerks' orders. When you finally felt sane again, you walked back to the dinning area and approached the men once again.
"Aww, Johnny," One man said with a smirk on his face as his eyes focused on your chest. "Look who came back to us."
"Yeah," The man, 'Johnny', replied. "Guess she just couldn't stay away from us."
"That's no way to treat a lady, now is it?" A voice said from behind you. You quickly turned around to see the brunette boy from the previous table that you were at, the seemingly nervous one. "Maybe you all should go back to the bar at the end of the street, I think you'd all rather be there anyways seeing as you can barely even read what's on the menu."
The men seemed a bit offended but stumbled out of the restaurant but now before they flicked off the boy who practically forced them leave.
"Thanks for that," You mumbled, turning to face the boy, suddenly shy. "They would've been a handful to serve."
"Well, it's a good thing I came to help then. Maybe I could get your number incase anything like that ever happens again..."
"I don't really know." You said jokingly, gripping your pad of paper against your chest as you smiled at the boy. "I mean, I don't usually give my number to people who I don't even know their name so-."
"Louis." He said, holding his hand out for you to shake it. "My name is Louis and I'd really like it if you'd give me your number now that you know my name."
You bit your lip to contain your smile and reached out to shake his hand. "Maybe, if you're lucky, it'll be on the receipt."
Louis took a step closer to you, leaning down to whisper in your ear.
"I'm a lot luckier than I look." He said before he stepped back, leaving you there alone as he went back to his friends who were cheering for him by the time he sat down.
