Oh gosh, the poor thing would be absolutely terrified. Not only terrified for himself but also you. I feel like he'd do everything in his power to keep you both safe, with extra security for both of you to keep the crowd at hand, but if the fan broke past the barrier and mobbed you both, i think he'd reach for you automatically. Niall would try his best to lead you both to the bus before you both became too panicked, trying to show off how manly and brave he is though his hand was wrapped so tightly around yours in fear. Once the security found you both, once again, and lead you back to the bus, his arms would immediately be wrapped around your body (because he always felt at peace when you were close to him) as he breathed a sigh of relief. "We're okay, baby. We're okay."
