~2 years ago~ (3 months after the car crash)

{Allison's POV}
I opened my eyes to a white surrounding. The sound of a heart rate monitor beeping filled the room.

I heard footsteps running towards me.

"Sweetie, your awake!" It was my mother.

"Someone, Doctor!" I heard my Dad's voice in the background.

Thats when it all seemed to clear out for me. I was in a hospital. Lying on the bed, with ivis in my arms.

"Delilah?" Is she okay?

The bright light was a car. We had gotten into an accident.

"I'm sorry dear, she is no more!" My mom said and instantly regreted forcing her to drive that night.

My vision hazed and I was knocked out....

I read the letter over and over again. It had been 2 weeks since I was out of the hospital. One week since I had recieved the letter from Jake.

Dear Allison,

When you wake up, I will be gone. I had to move away, I wanted to meet you, I didn't have the courage. I am so sorry you had to see that, I am the cause of all of this and I know, I will never be forgiven. I love you, don't forget that... you are mine and mine only. I will be back, I promise.

This letter reminded me of how broken I am. I will never be fixed, the hole inside me will never be filled...

(Present Day)

"Jake?" My eyes couldn't believe what they had seen.

"I'm back babygurl!" He gave me his crocked smile, the same one I used to know...
