Few weeks later........

It was the day of Gauri's arrival and her father was there to pick his princess. But their was yet another person waiting for her and that was none other than Akshay.....

Soon a girl in cute yellow dress came near Dev and hugged him. He too hugged her tightly. Gauri found her father's happiness genuine and was happy but when she remembered her promise she frowned and tried to cover up but Akshay sensed her fake smile and left.

"Princess, you know about your promise right...." Dev asked hoping she would neglect but was stunned when she nodded. He knew his daughter had lost faith in herself about finding the right person and now had completely given him the responsibility to do so.....

"It's not that we don't trust you. I promise that you won't regret giving us this responsibility. I believe in you and now that you are so progressing in life, I'm proud of you.

Gauri nodded her head in response and then they left.

Walawalkar residence

Akshay was back from the airport and was pacing in his room when he made a decision and left his room. Kiran and Varsha were sitting in living room and watching a movie. Varsha's head was on Kiran's shoulder while Kiran's arm was around her pulling her more in him.......

Their trance was broken by someone's throat clearing and when they saw it was Akshay they sighed in relief but soon Akshay burst in laughing and Varsha glared at him and he was quiet..............

"What is it son??? Why are you so distracted?? You want to say something?" Kiran sensing his odd behavior questioned.

"Dad, Gauri is back." Four words left Akshay's mouth and Kiran was alert. Besides him Varsha sensed the tension in air and looked between the father and son.

Kiran scrambled to his feet and took out his cell and dialed a number.......

"Hello" they heard from the other end.

"Dev, it's Kiran and we know that Gauri is back." Dev mumbled in reply.

"Ohhh.... But how???????" questioned Dev.

"Did you forget about the possessive lover boy over here?" Kiran muttered in an annoying way.

To which Dev burst in laughter and said an Ohhh..........

"So if things aren't complicated can we think about Akshay-Gauri's marriage" Kiran asked hopefully.

"Things are not complicated brother as you are saying but it's just that my daughter has put her entire trust in this decision and I don't want her to suffer more" Dev replied thinking about her promise.

"Uncle I promise, I won't let any harm come in her way. I'll protect her and love her more than she would have thought. But for that you have to trust in me" Akshay replied like a perfect gentleman.

"I trust Kiran and since you are his son, I do trust you but just take care of my daughter" Dev replied to his soothing claim.

"I'll" Akshay murmured

"So it's done and now you guys are coming to our house for further discussions this Sunday." Dev ordered in a non counterable way. Both Akshay and Kiran smiled at his excitement and mumbled a yes............

After ending the call they turned to look at Varsha when they found her looking at them with wide eyes.....

Kiran came near her and snapped his fingers in front of her and she looked at them with tearful gaze.......

Kiran took her in a hug and caressed her telling everything from the start......

Akshay was looking at his parents consoling each other about the happiness about to arrive. Now he realized what he was missing so far. He craved for the love his parents shared and wanted it for himself and he knew Gauri was the one who was going to fulfill her incomplete self.

He moved out from their to let his parents have their moments and sauntered in the lawn and started thinking about how his life had taken a 360 turn.

Where he was an arrogant businessman having girls falling for him at every hour of the day and now he was a love struck teenager boy who wanted his favorite girl to be his wife and was pleading her father to make him his son-in-law. He chuckled at his transformation.

A call broke out his reverie and he turned into the businessman about whom the world feared. He was out of town for few days and behind him his company had suffered a few losses. Now he was the crazy boss who was ready to fire anyone who came his way. He didn't cared about his absence as he was out for an important work but his company's negligence couldn't be praised. And he dashed like a mad bull to his office.
