The Hidden Truth

A couple of days must have gone by, I soon woke up finding myself in a room with no doors or windows just a small vent at the top of the wall, I noticed that I did not have my jacket on which made me nervous. Then someone stepped through a door then it closed behind him, He came towards me holding a clipboard and pen. The light had flashed on and as I waited for my eyes to adjust I realized who it was.

"Eric what are you doing here?"

He looked confused then walked over while tapping his clipboard with his pen.

"Um hay, I guess you have already met my Identical twin brother... I'm Eric's brother Ethan" He said

Identical twin I thought to myself, I stayed sitting down on my bed I pulled the covers to my chin as he came closer. It felt strange talking to him as he looked exactly like Eric he even wore the same type of clothes, Just different colours when he spoke he seemed nervous

"Look... I'm not the bad guy to be honest I'm the good guy I just work for them" He said as he tried getting me to talk to him

I moved the cover from my face, looking at him with disbelief then I turned my head as he was starting to annoy me with his constant talking but he was talking to me so I thought to myself I should stop being ignorant and reply

"Hay, if you don't want to talk to my face I will turn around?" He said and by going with his word he had turned around

I did not mean to be rude to him, as I leaned over to poke him to ask him to turn around

"Please. Turn around' I mumbled 'I did not mean to be rude. Just being in this place I cannot tell what is the truth or a lie" I said shuffling away from the wall

He lent against the wall and gave a sigh of relief, meaning he had so much to tell but only little he could say, and it was all the information I needed to find out what is going on. He sat there for a moment then looked at me, that is when Eric walked through the door they are defiantly identical

"What are you doing in here little bro?" Eric said as he slapped Ethan's Shoulder

But moments later after Eric walking in Connar walked in straight after him, a smile on his face a large book in his hand, not one you would expect to read a book as he's the rough guy that doesn't care about anyone or anything, probably the type of person that tortured animals as a child or was known as the schools bully. The guy had no emotion no care in the world

"Boy's... Leave, now" He said pointing his book towards the door

Ethan stood up next to Eric, but not another step from both of them it was like they knew what Connar was up to what he had planned in that little head of his but they had to follow his orders as today he was in charge of the whole building and everyone in it

"I said leave.... NOW! Meaning Get out of here!" Connar said again

I grabbed onto Ethan's arm but Connar swiped it away and pointed again to the door. As they both left Connar pulled out a radio and requested the door remained locked, Eric heard his command over the radio and started banging on the door the rage and worry in Eric's voice echoed through the vent

"Don't worry, I'M not going to hurt you" Connar said placing the book onto my bed

I couldn't fight I was still tired, I felt powerless as it also looked like Connar had been working out meaning he would be stronger, more powerful than he was before he wouldn't have to use his friend that dumped me in the back of his car

"What do you want? Please let me out of this place" I said as I went to sit back onto my bed

Connar decided he was going to sit down too, so I decided to stand back up I did not want to be near this man after what he had done, but he followed me back up he got closer as I took a step back I felt tired but I didn't want to sit if he was going to be next to me so I used all the energy that I have left in me to keep myself standing.

"I want information, and trust me I am going to get it out of you one way or another" Connar said getting closer

That is the moment that I was against the wall, my back hurt but I tried not to show that I was in paid as he got closer and closer but I couldn't go any further my back was against the wall and he well he was close enough for my liking

"What do you want to know? Because I'm not telling you anything, not a thing and I would rather die than tell you anything" I said as I pushed him away and spat at his face

He become angry it was a very bad move he come rushing towards me he pushed me against the wall and put his hand around my neck, I screamed calling for Eric to help but the door had been locked but I still tried but nothing... Nothing happened I don't know where he was I needed his help and he wasn't there

"You have made a very bad move!" He pulled me forward and slammed me against the wall

The force of what he had done made me breathless as when he let go I collapsed to the floor I screamed for Eric's help but the words didn't leave my mouth, but somehow it was like he knew what was going on as there was noises coming from the outside he started banging and shouting from outside the room. but Connar hadn't finished he kicked me in the stomach I tried to get up but he picked up the book and hit me on the head I fell to the ground and everything turned black but I could still hear every word he was saying, the crackling of the radio

"You can let me out now, you might need medical in here though" Connar said as he released the button for the radio

The door buzzed and Eric pushed his way in he saw me laying on the floor he must have I looked up the whole room was a blurred but what I last saw was Eric forcing Connar against the wall as if he was about to beat him up for good, but he swiped him out of the door as the medical team rushed in by that time everything had gone dark once again.

The flickering lights as I was being taken down a hallway to another room but I was falling in and out of consciousness, people running by my since including Eric I had been left in a room with some others that wasn't supposed to be here, the question is why are they here what do they want with them?

Moments later as I started to regain consciousness I find myself in a operating room the people sat me up but my head was so heavy, something didn't feel right the people around me was being so gentle I tried to get up, trying to move they held my arms and shoulders everything hurt I felt cold as they had removed my top as the force Connar used opened the stitches I began bleeding again

"You're going to be ok, I promise" Eric said holding my hand

The staff rolled me onto my side and laid me back down, they put a mask over my nose and mouth which made me feel sleepy I tried to resist but my eyes become heavy and total darkness, the voices began to fade. But a light got brighter even though I had been put to sleep; I was in a court room surrounded by a group of people

"Amethyst, Amethyst you're doing well please don't give up you have been sent to this that place to help those people I'm sorry that we didn't tell you straight away, now you must go back and stop the one they call Connar for he is the one who needs to be stopped" came a voice from the shadows

For a moment I felt my soul leave my body and then bounce straight back I now know what I have to do but its finding out how and when to begin moving on how to save these people I need to find the truth on what is going on in this place. Somehow I felt all the strength enter back into my body , my body seem to be full of life again as I flung myself forward my wounds seamed to heal themselves

"Take her to a different section of the building! Don't let Connar anywhere near her, not until she is... well herself again" Eric said

I had my back to him while he began talking to the staff about me but what he didn't know is I could hear every single word he was saying, I didn't want to be some lab rat or wait for something else bad to happen.

"I can walk by myself" I said sitting up on the table but somehow I knew I wasn't going to be allowed to walk by myself

But hopefully I start getting answers, hopefully I can start helping these people help them be free and end this place.
