"You let Cameron go, and I'll come with you, willingly." Said Dylan. Kadence chuckled with a smirk.
"OR we could just drug you and take both of you." She said, smirking to the two humans. Paige sighed.
"Ugh, Kadence."
"What? I know for a fact if I let one of them go, they will go looking for police, and that will not end well for us." Paige put her hand on her forehead in disappointment.
"What, are you even planning to do with them? Its not like we need them!" She snapped. Kadence shook her head.
"No, but it will at least buy me more time to figure out what we plan to do with them!"
"FINE." Paige said, irritated. She held onto the chloroform-soaked rag, walked over to Dylan, and pressed it against his nose. He coughed, and struggled in her grasp at first, but his eyes rolled back as his slightly inclined head fell onto the ground.
Cameron looked for a weapon, anything he could use to defend himself as his heart rate sped up.
"Don't even try, human. You know we will always win a fight against you." Kadence smirked. Cameron sat for a moment, pondering her words. Maybe lose a fight, but he was a pretty fast runner... He thought.
Suddenly, he rapidly pushed himself off the ground with his strong hand, not placing any weight on the injured one. He almost tripped but gained his balance after a few steps and bolted towards his gun. With a light chuckle, Kadence snapped her fingers twice to release Raynii from her side. Raynii took off running towards the gun. Cameron was only a few feet away when she passed him and stood over the gun as she hissed at him. His eyes widened, showing nothing but fear and panic, and as soon as he turned around to run away from her, he was suddenly trapped in Kadence's arms, unable to escape as the rag was placed over his nose and mouth. His vision went blurry. Then, darkness.
Kadence sighed, letting his limp body fall to the ground. "What are we gonna do with them?" Asked Paige.
"I don't know. I don't know if they have a family or if they're alone, I don't know if anyone will come looking for them. I DO know that I don't want any more policemen wandering our territory in search of two missing teens."
"I'm surprised you even came here to help us in the first place, Raynii and I were doing fine with the negotiating." Said Paige. Kadence scoffed loudly.
"I have lived here long enough to know that Draven can be trouble." Paige laughed.
"Not Mallory or Nicole?" She asked. With a chuckle as she walked over to the two humans, Kadence shook her head.
"They're all hiss and no bite. They wouldn't dare attack anyone from Seth's pack. I'll make sure of it." Said Kadence. Paige and Raynii blurted out questions.
"Do you actually think he's alive?"
"Do you know if he'll ever come back?" Kadence shrugged, and shook her head.
"I honestly don't know." Paige looked down at the two humans, still passed out as they laid on the ground.
"Well, we better get them back if we don't want to have to do that again." Said Paige, picking up Cameron. Raynii nodded, picking up Dylan.
"Alright then, looks like I'm carrying the gun." Paige laughed, turning away.
"You don't know how to shoot a gun." She said. Kadence laughed jokingly.
"The hell I don't. I'm not planning to learn either, but I am not leaving it out here to act as a form of evidence that these numbskulls were ever here in the first place." Paige giggled, and they all started their walk back to their shelter.
