1. Should have known

Hinata Huyga is currently sitting under a willow tree surrounded by forest beside a large pond which it surface is glimmering at the bright stars against the dark sky. To add it up it is middle of December and almost midnight as a cold breeze blew the young maiden's hair and right through her soft pale skin.

Though she doesn't seem to mind it at all as her face looks completely blank and her mind keep playing and displaying the events that had occured at that early noon.

It's been 2 weeks since the moon incident and everything is back to it usual self. After that mission the Hokage have gave the crew some days off so right now a certain Huyga, the one we all know and come to love, is making her way down the street after she had visit her father in the hospital.

The past few weeks Hinata Huyga couldn't have been happier. She had finally have the man of her dream which she has been dreaming of even before the Academy days. It's like a dream come true! The first few weeks were blissful as she and Naruto have spent so much time together! She now can finally stand walking by his side. Just thinking of it makes her feel warm inside and giggling happily as she stroll down the streets of Konoha. The place that she grew loving as the time goes by.

" I wonder if i could see Naruto-kun today.." she thought as she remembered that Naruto said he had promised to train Konohamaru this afternoon.

" I guess i could pay them a visit.." so she start heading to the training ground

Just when she arrives at where Naruto and Konohamaru were training, she saw a bunch of crowd consist of young girls surrounded outside the training ground fences.

" Naruto-kun!!! "

" Naruto-sama!!! "

The fan-girls were screaming Naruto's name. Hinata felt uneasy at that.

As the time passes Naruto sure have gain respect from the villagers and many more outside of village. Many people now know about his strengths and potential, what he had gone through. Somes even had noticed something in Naruto that Hinata, herself that noticed a long ago.

Sometimes Hinata wish that if she were to be more strong.. if she had the confidence.. she would have been able to approach him and comfort him when she saw how lonely he was on that swing. She could have had him sooner instead of just being invisible watching him afar.

She feels kind of upset when all these young girls charge themselves at Naruto 'cause she was the one who had loved him for the longest time. However, it was also her fault that she didn't take any moves, so she has no right to claim that he was her's..

Right now, Hinata is just silently watching Naruto behind the large amount of fan-girls from afar.

Naruto has come to used of this so he was ignoring all the calls for him and keep sparing with Konohamaru.

Unfortunately, unlike Naruto, Konohamaru is feeling irritate and finding it hard to concentrate due to the loud noise. Hinata can cleary see that Konohamaru is slowly ticking and reaching his limit..

" SHUT UP ALL OF YOU, WOULD YOU!!?? WE ARE TRYING TO TRAIN HERE!!! "

" Kyaaaa!!! " the fan-girls startled at Konohamaru outburst

" AND FOR YOUR INFORMATION NARUTO-NII ALREADY HAVE A GIRLLFRIENDDD!!! SO BEAT IT!!! "

" WHATT!! NO WAYYY!!! "  they exclaim

A certain dark hair maiden finally felt at ease and blush slightly at that statement.

"I..Is that truee??!! Naruto-sama!!?? " one of the fan girl asked

On the field Naruto just grinned  widely and gave his thumb up. Meaning yes.

The large amount of his admirers scream and crying desperately as they collaspe to the ground. Hinata who is still standing behind blush and smile blissfully as she just watch Naruto action.

Due to the new information and scared of Konohamaru outbrust the admires are slowly decreasing. Hinata was quietly heading to the entrance of the training ground when she heard the start of the conversation due to her well- trained ears.

" Actually i'm quite surprise though " Konohamaru said as he grab a towel and dry up all the sweats

" Huh? About? " Naruto confused

" About you dating Hinata-san. I mean, i know she likes you for a long time. But it's unsual for you to just suddenly date her after you knew it.. Also i thought you like, no, love Sakura-nee, it's not like you to give up at all! " Konohamaru assert

" Yeah.. it's true that my feeling for Sakura-chan still some what there, but i know that we will never be true.. Sakura truly  loves Sasuke. And after i knew Hinata true feelings and what she had done for me, i really came to like her too.."

"..Not out of pity?"

Hinata wide eyes. Her heart drop.

" W-Wha..t" Naruto shocked

" Or are you just dating her to forget about Sakura-nee? "

"..I.." Naruto stuttered..

Hinata couldn't believe what she just heard. Is it true? That she has been used as a replacement..? She sees that Naruto is struggling to answer..

" No.. It's not true right..? Please tell him that it's not true.." she can feel the hot tears swell up in her eyes threatening to fall

And yet no answer were came from the blond

" Urghhg i can't believe this!! He already got a girlfriend!! Who on earth stole him before me! " just then she heard the voice right beside her next to the entrance.

" I know right.. he was sooo perfect! But we couldn't do anything about it anymore though.. or else we could probably be dead meat." The girl next to her said

" What do you mean?? You know who he is dating?!"

" Of course dummy who else could it be?! It's Sakura-san! "

Hinata heart drop once again. Right now she wish she could just disappear from this scenes. The Pein's attack from her would have less hurt than this..

" Yeah you're right.. they have been together like.. since they were kids. And everyone knows that Naruto-san love Sakura-san.. i guess there are no helping it."

...After that Hinata had ran crying, she doesn't care where she just wish to get out of that hurtful scenario.

" I should have known.. I was such a fool.." she whispered quietly

She should have suspected it from the start. She was too content at that time to see that it was all a lie. She was blind by his words, those soothing words, his brilliant smiles and his passionate blue eyes to see that he was acting out of guilty.. She should have known...

Hot tears begin to drop from her soft lavender eyes as she let out small sobs. She should have known that she could never have the place in his heart, where it only belong to only Sakura Haruno.

She should have known that she could never replace Sakura Haruno
