(Max's POV)

Camp Campbell sucks ass. It's always sucked ass since it opened. The food is gross, many of the campers are pretty annoying, the staff (especially the Quartermaster) look pretty shady and I just hate it. But, there is 1 reason why I haven't tried leaving the camp: Nikki.

I've actually crushed on her after the first few days of camp. She was really pretty and was not a complete THOT like the Flowerscouts. She had really thick, lucious, seafoam green hair. And she was the only person that gave me joy when I'm down. I guess they were right when they said opposites attract. I mean, look at us!

But today, during conoeing, I'm gonna tell her. Hopefully she'll listen. If she doesn't and I find out someone else is crushing on her, I'm officially changing my name to Ayano Aishi and killing them and others that could potentially crush on Nikki. But that shouldn't happen anytime soon.

(Neil's POV)

Nikki and I are like best friends! It's like she really understands me and we've had a lot of moments together (good, bad and weird). She was with me a lot of times and because of that, I've liked her a lot. It's weird but cute to see her bond with a lot of animals. Sure, she isn't the prettiest or the smartest (or the sanest) but, she's the most honest. And that's what makes her really beautiful. I'm nervous, but I'm going to ask her out. Hopefully she'll say yes.

(Max's POV)

"Alright campers!" David shouted in his annoying voice. "Today we're going to do canoeing! I will put you guys in trios."

"Sounds alright," I shrugged. I didn't listen to the people being put in groups until I heard David say "Nikki, Neil and Max!".

Neil looked excited, but I don't know what for. But I was pretty excited. This is the perfect moment for me to tell Nikki about my feelings.

(Neil's POV)

I always would think that Nikki and I would be near a waterfall when I asked her out, but I'll take what I can get. I know that our future relationship will probably last a few months before breaking up, but it's best to tell her now rather than later. I linger for her kisses. Hopefully she isn't a bad kisser.
