Soon enough we started couply things, like holding hands, and going on dates, even kissing, on the cheek though.
Practically everynight was date night! Our first date was probably the best though.
My cousin, who was in high school at the time and knew we were dating,  took us ice skating. We laced up and Troye, my  cousin, left before us. He's a pro at ice skating, he's done it every year for his birthday. I helped Adeline up and lead her to the rink. Not a lot of people were there, only a few kids and their parents.
"Ready?" I gripped Adeline's hand a bit tighter. I'm not the best at ice skating and I was scared I'd fall to much and embarrass her.
"Yeah!" She gave me a reassuring smile and all my fears melted away.
She got on the ice first, she gracefully jumped up, landed on the ice, skated by the wall, spun, grabbed the wall, and waited for me.
"Uhh." I nervously put on foot on the ice and immediately fell, almost doing the splits.
"OH GOSH!!" Adeline helped me up.
"Have you ever been ice skating?" She giggled.
"Yeah, but I'm shit at it." I looked down.
"I'll help you!" Adeline said.
"No, I should just watch you skate on one of those benches." I couldn't look up, I was too embarrassed.
Adeline lifted my head up by using her hand and lifting my chin.
"You can do it." She smiled.
I blushed. I've never really been romantically involved with anyone before and god was she pretty.
"Okay." I said.
She took my hand and started skating, I didn't know what to do so I just let her pull me.
"You have to move your feet silly!" She laughed.
I looked at how she was moving her feet and started to move mine the same way.
"You're gettin' it!!" Her hand started to loosen and I panicked, tightly squeezing her hand.
"I have to let go Zoe. You'll never learn unless you let go." She slipped through my fingers and I...I was doing it!!!
"ADIE I'M DOING IT!!!" I yelled.
"Adie??" She laughed.
"I made you a nickname." I smiled.
"I love it!" She took my hand.
"And I love you." I kissed her hand.
"Wait what??!" Her eyes widened.
I realized what I had just said and slammed to the ground again.
"Zoe!! AAAAHHHHHH!!!!" Adie fell next to me.
"Ooowwww." She laughed.
"You okay?" I asked.
"You love me?" She looked at me.
"I'm sorry I said that." I apologized.
"Don't be, I love you too." She got up and helped me up. Then, we skated for a few hours and left. Before we dropped her off at her house I kissed her forehead and said goodbye. I can't believe how lucky I am.
