Gentle and Quiet

~Masky's p.o.v.~

 I lightly shook Toby in hopes of waking him up.He mumbled then buried his face in the couch."Toby, you need to get up." I said in a gentle voice.He barely opened his eyes then spoke through stutters "I-I w-want t-t-to sl-sleep..." I  sighed then placed my hand on his cheek "You can sleep tonight,okay?" He only nodded in response.He looks sick and so breakable...I need to be gentle...His cheek is really hot.Maybe I should let him sleep.Hoodie stood up and left the room while I sat on the floor facing Toby."Hey, are you okay?You feel hot..." I said in a hushed tone.He nodded then spoke in a quiet and scratchy voice "I-Its j-just a l-l-little cold" I cursed under my breath then stood up."Okay, stand up...you get to go to bed for a little bit.Only til I find out if your sick or not." I said in my normal voice.He stood up then nodded.He wouldn't speak much or make any sound.He wasn't as happy and hyper as he used to be.

~Toby's p.o.v.~

 Masky made me go to my room then forced me to let him take my temperature.After about a minute of waiting for Masky to tell me what it was he finally spoke "You're staying in bed..." I looked at him confused "W-what d-does i-i-it say?" "110, you're not allowed out of bed for now." he sighed then looked at me "Hey, you need to take your hoodie off." I shook my head and refused to.He looked at me dead in the eyes "Toby, take your hoodie off so your temperature will start to go down a little faster." he said in a blunt voice.I sighed then took it off.I didn't have anything else on at the time.I only wore pants and my hoodie.I didn't like taking off my hoodie and going shirtless cause you could see most of my bones.I didn't eat much so I got skinny very quickly.I hugged my knees to my chest in order to keep my ribs from showing.I felt Masky place his hand on my shoulder "Would you like me to get you a shirt to wear?" I only nodded in response.I didn't have any clean shirts in my room so Masky wound up giving me one of his to wear.He handed me the shirt then sat down against the wall while I put the shirt on.After I got the shirt on I looked over at Masky then laid down."M-Masky...?" he only looked up I spoke in a hushed voice "W-Will...y-you l-lay d-down w-with me?" I was uncontrollably stuttering.He smiled then walked over to my bed and sat down.I pulled on his sleeve to get him to lay down.He finally laid down.I scooted closer to him and laid my head on his chest.I gripped onto his sleeve as tight as I could.He started to rub my back which made me quickly fall asleep.I was scared to sleep.I didn't to have a nightmare and scare Masky.I hope nothing like that happens tonight.
