~Masky's p.o.v.~

Toby had a tight grip on my jacket after being touched on the spots over and over. I slowly took my jacket off after getting Toby let go of it. I covered his back wrapping him in it then allowed him to hold onto my shirt. I slowly stood up and left Toby on the couch with Jane. He kept whining not wanting me to leave. Almost an hour later I heard a scream then loud yelling "D-DON'T TOUCH M-M-ME!" I ran in the living room to see Toby against the wall crying and yelling. I could tell he was tensed up. Jeff had Toby backed in the corner of the room. I ran as quick as I could. Jeff had already had his knife out. I stood in front of Toby. I then pushed Jeff away. I turned around then picked the crying Toby up then slowly walked outside. We finally made it to the field where I sat Toby down then I sat next to him. He handed me my jacket then laid on his stomach. He arched his back showing more and more red marks. "Toby, lay down flat and try not to move." he did as I said. I slowly rubbed my hand over all then new marks making him yelp. "Masky! D-don't t-touch t-the m-marks!" I slowly rubbed his back trying not to hurt him while trying to help him. He squrimed for a minute then sighed in relief. I found it kind of cute so I continued then slowly came to a stop. "Ready to head back?" I asked in a gentle voice and got a quick reply "N-no! Pl-please!" He sounded scared and worried."Toby, we have to go we can't out here too long. It's getting colder." He sighed then rolled over tensing up once he was on his back. He slowly closed his eyes then mumbled "I s-shouldn't h-have d-done t-t-that..." "Okay, were going back also it's getting too cold." I said right before picking him up. He seemed relieved after I wrapped my jacket around him once again. Once we were back I sat Toby down on the couch laying him on his stomach. He soon fell asleep allowing me to get a few things done. Sure I was tired but I could go days without sleep unlike Toby who could only do so if his nightmares got too bad. If that happened one of us usually had to give him sleeping pills which he hated and would have to be forced to take them. I sat for hours doing paper work until around 4 am. I walked into the living room to see Toby and Sally fallen asleep on the floor. Sally was hugging Toby and her small stuffed bear. It was actually very cute so I took a quick picture before going for a quick walk. It was a nice morning although it was still dark. I wound up turning around and headed back.
