Chapter 3

Author POV:

It was friday afternoon around 3:25 PM and Summer was in heading home to grab her brothers since she had a day off of work so she wants to take her brothers out while their father was at work till midnight. Summer had the chance to let her brother have some free time out side then being in house all the time so Summer decided to bring her brothers to the park. Once Summer reached her house, she open the door to meet a flying object to the face as she yip in pain at the surprise.

Summer POV:

"Ow what the hell was that?" I said whining a little as I entered the house to see it a mess as I saw my father standing there throwing thing around like he was looking for something. "F-Father what are you looking for....gah?!" I try to ask but I saw another object flying towards me but this time I duck in time. "Its none of your business girl now go away before you get another punishment!" Father yelled as I ran up stairs to my room fast before he try to come after me. Once I was in my room, I locked the door so he wouldn't get into my room unless he breaks the door down but other then that I should be safe. "*Sighs*, Ouch my head." I whine as I head to my bathroom an looked at the mirror to see that I have a cut on the side of my for head and a black an blue mark under my lift eye.
"Why is Dad here, I though he was suppose to be at work now?" I said to myself before I heard a gentle knock on my door and voice I like to hear. "Sis would you open the door please." I heard Yang said as I heard to my door and unlock it to see my sweet brothers. "Quickly, dad could be here at any moment." I said as the boys move in fast when I said it. "Would you tell me why Dad is still here and not at work." I ask the boys while they looked at each other before Yin spoke. "Dad saw you holding a card when you left for school so he though you left it here an wanted to take it so he could destroy it." He said as I pulled the card he was talking about.
"He want this huh, well he's not getting it." I said as I grabbed my phone and started to call the number hoping the person can answer it.

"Hello?"

"Seto is that you?"

"Summer? Is there something you needed."

"Is there a time we can talk face to face before my father gets out of control and beats me again, I have my brothers with me now in my room."

"Yes there is, I'm almost done with work anyway so if you arrive early by the time I'm done we can talk."

"Alright, we'll be there!"

"Alright I will see you soon Summer."

After the call was done, I heard the front door slammed shout as a car started then left as I looked at Yin an Yang. "Alright guys we're going to meet a friend of mine but you guys have to behave okay, no asking or complaining got that." I said as the boys nodded so I unlocked my door for the boys to get dress while I did the same then once we're done, we head out the door and walked to Seto work. As we are walking, I had both boys on each side holding my hand while we reach the Kaiba Corp. "Here we are boys, My friend works here so lets get in side shall we." I ask and the boys nodded their heads as we walk into the building where a guard show up an walk towards us. "Miss Sota, I'm here to guide you to Mr Kaiba office now follow me this way please." He said as we followed him to an elevator and we went up to the floor we need as we head toward to door that says Seto Kaiba on it.

Knocks

"Who is it"

"Miss Sota has arrive sir"

The guard open the for us as we enter it to see Seto sitting on his chair typing something on his computer. "You guys can have a seat while you wait till I am done." Seto said as we head over to a sofa an sat down as we wait for Seto to be done. "Big brother do we have guesses?" We all hear as the door open to reveal a boy with long black hair, wearing a blue and white strip long sleeve short and blue jeans with black and white shoes looks around the boys age. "Yes Mokuba we have guesses, why don't you and the twins go play so Summer and I can talk." Seto said as the boys look an I nodded my head as they got off the sofa and went with Mokuba as they left the room. "Sighs, at least they have someone to play with instead of being in the house all the time..What am I going to do with them." I said as I sigh before leaning my forehead onto my hand before I heard a chair move as I look up to see Seto heading towards me. "It's not a everyday thing that I invite someone to talk to but your a special occasion." Seto said as he sat down next to me as I looked at him as he wore a black long sleeve shirt, black pair of pant with a silverish white trench coat with his black boots as well. "Giggled, well don't I feel special...Ouch my head!" I whined a little as I held my right side of the face gently but I felt a hand turning my head back carefully as Seto looked at my face. To what he found was my black and blue mark under my left eye then the cut on my right side of my head as it was bleeding a little but not much. "How did this happen this time." Seto ask narrowing his eyes in anger. "I was arriving home when suddenly as I open the door an object came out of nowhere as it flew to my face fast than it hit me head on, After the pain was gone for a bit I was inside to see that the living room was ruin as our father was throwing thing's around trying to find something but couldn't." I said wanting to look away but then Seto got up an head to his desk as he pulled out a mini aid kit before heading back to me.

"Have you told anyone about this abusement your father is treating you?" Seto question hoping that I said yes but instead I shook my head no. "I wasn't able to because I was afraid of our father hurting my brothers next if I told someone but I at least told one person my condition and that's you Seto, your the only one I told this to. Now all I hope is that my father doesn't find out." I said in nervous as Seto sat down with the kit as he open it and pulled out some small alcohol pads, a butterfly bandage and last was an Ice pack. "It's best to stay at my place for now until we can handle your father since his abusement is getting out of hand." Seto said as he started to clean my cut which it stung a bit but I was surprise by his offering for me and my brothers to live with him but all I did was stay still so he could find it. "Are you sure that it's okay to stay with you, I'm sure you have lots of work to do!" I said not caring for the words I said. "I'll have my lawyer take care of your father for now but in the mean time you stay with my brother and I until things are handle correctly...now let's get our brothers an head to the mansion alright." He said as I nodded my head as we head to where the boys were, this was the first time someone offered to help my brothers and I to get away from our father...was Seto and his brother every in the condition we are in now or was it something else.
