Chapter 1

Summer POV

Running it's what I have been doing for a while now...Why?  Well lets just say that I'm being chase by a group of men Why again?....Well it's because I have the abilities they want and my abilities are very dangerous

I been running away from group of men during the time it is raining.  "I got to loss them but how?  There on my tail!" I said running faster to get away from these guys with them shouting at each other. 

"Get back here"

"Don't let her escape!"

"After her"

I turned a corner hoping to escape the group but I was very wrong.  When I turn the corner, it led me to a dead end and my only way out is the way I first came in.  "Why of all the places does there have to be dead end?" I said as I turn around slowly to find the group of men blocking my way out.  "Hahaha we finally got you into a corner now. Your coming with...Ack!?" The guy in the middle said as I saw a card cutting the guys cheek as it flew to me an I caught it.  I turn it over to see what it was an my eyes slightly wide to see what it was and it was a Blue eyes white dragon:

"Huh who did that!" The man said angrily as he turn around to find a boy around my age if not older standing behind him.  "Leave the girl alone." The guy with Sapphire blue eyes said as all the men group turn to him as the man in the middle growled.  "Its Seto Kaiba, you two get him while I get the girl." The guy said as the other two nodded and went after him while the man was heading towards me.  I was cornered, I had no where to run so I held the card close while the man moved closer and closer until something stopped him.  "Take one more step towards the girl and I'll make your life a living hell." I heard as I saw the guy name Seto pointing a gun to the guys head while he looked at me nodded his head to the left telling me to come over and I did while I gave the card back an he took it.  "Thanks for your cooperation." Seto said as he knocked the guy out with his gun before turning to me seeing how I was then I looked at myself to see that I was a complete mess from trying to get away but I tripped many time as I have piece of my clothes torn enough to show little of my scar on the side but he didn't pay attention to it.  "Umm thanks for saving me back there I should be getting going...hold it there miss." Seto intruded me as he handed me a card that had his number on it an also the office number as I looked at him in confusion before he spoke.  "If you need anything you can call me if it's and emergency, I don't do this very often so use it very wisely...So what's your name Miss?" Seto said as I looked at him in his eyes as I spoke.  "Summer, Summer Sota...I got to go and again thanks for saving bye." I said as I gave him a quick peck on the cheeks as I took off running i the rain heading home hoping that father hasn't harm the boys while I has out.

Once I was able to reach home, I was about to open the door when suddenly it open revealing my abusive father and he had an angry face as his could kill someone if anyone looked at them.  "I told you to be on time coming home and yet you disobeyed for the last time..Now your getting your punishment!" He said as he grabbed my arm, yanked me into the house then toss me to the living room floor as I turn to see him pulling out a belt that has some metal on them and it has dry blood from the last time he hit me with it.  Father raise the belt high before he brought it down on me as I beg and plead for him to stop but he keep going until either one of my arms or leg starts to bleed an that's what he did after he was done.  "Your useless, your never going to run the family business or ever get a husband because their just going to throw you out and you be running back to me in a heartbeat." He said as he left with a devilish grin on his face to his room while I lay on the floor crying in pain silence trying to bare the pain when suddenly I saw my twin younger brothers head towards me with a first aid kit.  This was our everyday thing as I tell my twin younger brothers Yin and Yang to hide from our father while I out to school or to work an every time I either come home late after work or be in the middle of shopping, our father would always blamed me an abuse me when he is either drunk, angry or ect.

"Sis you got to tell someone about this, it can't go on..He'll will soon might kill you for no good reason so please tell some one about this we can't loss you because of him." Yang said as they carefully lifted me up an had my back press again the couch so they can treat my injuries.  We gotten use to this but to me I was like a mother to them since our mother died from cancer and I was the only one who could give the boys the love they needed so my money when I get pay goes to them so they can live a healthy life then mine right now, after they finish treating my wounds they hugged me while they cried as I wrapped my arms around to comfort them so I sang the song mother use to sing to me when I was little as I partially remember it:

After I was done singing the song, I looked at my brothers to see them asleep in peace as I let out a soft smile an said something in a whispering voice:
I promise to try to find someone to help us
