"Baby"
"Love wake up"
"No,....go away"
"Love we are about to land you have to wake up"
I jolted upright suddenly remembering where we were and what happened. "Shitt,... I'm sorry" I said rubbing my eyes.
I looked over to Dmitri and I could see that he didn't sleep a wink. He had bags under his eyes and they were red as if he was rubbing it for an hour straight.
"How are you doing?" I asked him. He furrowed his brows at my question as if he was only now thinking about how he felt about his father's heart attack.
"Okay,....i guess" he turned towards me "I'll be fine as long as you are here with me" he said faking a smile.
"That is the fakest smile I have ever seen. But I'll take it.....for now" I said trying to lift the mood and it actually worked. He gave me a smile. "You're amazing you know that right?"
I smiled at him "I know it now"
As soon as the plane landed we went straight to the hospital. Dmitri wanted to freshen up at home first and drop the luggage off but I realised he was just trying to prolong seeing Alex. So yeah I was not having any of that. I told the driver to take us to the hospital or I'd put a bullet in his nutsack. I guess he's attached to those pretty tightly because he just looked at me all scared and sped off towards the hospital.
Currently I was sitting in the waiting room and I could hear Dmitri screaming at the poor nurse at reception because he wanted to see his father but they were doing tests and he couldn't. I did stand by him but when I tried to convince him he just gave me the look and I lifted my hands in defeat and told him that I would be waiting in here. That was fifteen minutes ago. I felt sorry for the poor nurse, I did try and help her but I was not about to have a fight with Dmitri.
It has been a while now since I heard his screaming so I got up to see what was going on. The nurse said that Dmitri went to see his father. He was arguing with her for so long that they finished the tests. I decided to go get some coffee because it was three in the morning. I did sleep in the plane but that was not nearly enough for me.
I was still busy with the coffee when a hand landed on my waist too roughly "I looked for you everywhere you said you would be in the waiting room". It was Dmitri and he was irritated and looked a bit worried.
"I was just getting some coffee" I said in a relaxed tone. I understand why he is in a foul mood so I let it slide for just this once. "Well come on we can see my father"
A few hours later we found out that it was a light heart attack. He would be on medication for the rest of his life but he was alive and that was the most important part. Dmitri's mood hasn't changed. After he answered my few questions very short and curtly I stopped asking questions in fact I stopped talking. I was in no mood to argue with him or start a fight that could have been avoided. I think we both just needed some food and sleep.
He drove us to the Patrov mansion. He helped me out of the car but as soon as we entered the house he went straight to his father's study. I stood there like an idiot because he didn't say anything.
Like I said I was in no mood so I just shook my head. I made my way to his side of the house and started the shower. Our bags were not in the room just yet so I just grabbed some of my underwear that I left here a few weeks ago and one of his shirts. I then went to the bathroom and started the shower.
When I got out of the bathroom I saw that our bags were in the room. I didn't pay much attention to that and just got into bed. I thought that I would just leave Dmitri to cool down and ask him about it tomorrow.
