While I was straightening my hair Aaliyah went to her house to go put on her clothes and she was just gonna meet me there.
I was almost done with my hair and I herd someone knock on my bathroom door. I turned my head to see Bentley.
" how you get in here" I focused back on my hair.
" Jordan let me in. Where you goin" I felt him scanning my body.
" out" I made the finishing touches on my hair.
"Like that"I herd him walk closer.
"Yes like this" I walked out of my bathroom and went to my closet. I really have no idea why Bentley is here in the first place. He basically cuts me off and now he's doing pop ups at my house.
" Ashley can we talk about yesterday-"
" why does everyone wanna sit down and talk with me. Want me to explain or go over how I feel when y'all already know. I am tired of playing these games with y'all two. Yes I love both of you and you can't get mad at the way I feel." I yelled while I put my shoes on.
"I get it , and I'm sorry for just showing up. I just thought you would give me a chance now that we're older, less childish but it's cool. I'll just give you some time and space." With that he left.
Tonight was supposed to be fun and now I feel sorry for Bentley.
Just before I left I grabbed my black ripped jeans jacket and hoped in my Benz truck.
I texted Aaliyah the address and went straight there.
When I pulled up it was packed and the place was dope. I put some lipgloss on and went inside. This party was so different to what I was used to. The music and the way people dressed was the same but the vibe and the scenery was different. Everyone was having fun with each other , talking to each other just enjoying each other.
" I like yo jacket girl" I herd a girl next to me say.
" thanks" I replied. She looked bomb like Instagram bomb. She was dark skin with a dark blue bob and she killed it.
" I'm trinity, I've never seen you at one of larenzos parties before" she smiled.
" yea it's my first time I'm Ashley , do you know where he is by any chance?" I asked
" yea girl I got you" we walked to the kitchen where it was mostly men and probably five girls.
" zo ashley was looking for you.. if you need anything come find me girl" she walked off.
Everyone was looking at me especially the dudes.
" you came" He came up to me and gave me a hug. He smelled so good.
" ehemm" one of his friends tried to fake cough.
" oh Ashley this is teddy, Malcolm, and Ronnie" he pointed to them. I waved back.
" can I dance with you?" He asked with his arm around me.
Without a work I walked to where everyone was dancing and he followed. LUV by Tory lanez came on and I laid it all on him. He put his hands on my hips and enjoyed it. While I was dancing I saw Aaliyah dancing on Ronnie. He looked way better than Marcus and probably had less baggage.
I let her be and focused on larenzo.
When the song was done I turned around and we both smiled At each other.
" umm would you mind if I take you out.. like on a date... I mean only if you want to?" He was so nervous and it was cute.
" I would love to go on a date with you" I smiled.
For the rest of the night we danced, gassed( smoked), and just had fun.
It was around 1:30am and people started leaving.
" I guess I better head home too" I said while walking to the door.
" can I get your number" he said while walking me to my car. I put my hand out for his phone and he gave it to me.
" there .. I enjoyed the party"I said and went in my car.

It was 8:00 in the morning and I woke up to my phone ringing. I looked to see who it was was drained when I saw the name Bentley.
When the phone stopped ringing I noticed that I had 6 missed calls from Bentley
1 from Jordan and 1 from a random number.
I decided to call Bentley back since his ass did call me six times.
The phone only rang once and he answered hella quick.
" who this" A female said threw the phone. I could feel her attitude.
" what you mean who this Bentley called me six times damn near woke my ass up out my sleep."I sat up getting upset.
" well sweetie he's kinda occupied now but I'll tell him you called" with that she hung up. I was pissed.
How in the hell are you going to talk about how much you want me , call me six times and be laid up with some bitch.
After taking a shower and calming myself down I decided to call the random number back.
The phone rang three times then a familiar voice answered.
" I was hoping you didn't give me your number for no reason" larenzo laughed through the phone. I instantly had a smile on my face.
" I was hoping the same thing" I laughed too.
" let me take you out on that date later on today"he asked and I could tell he was nervous still.
" yea what time" I sat on my bed with my towel wrapped around me.
" four and I'll pick you up" he started to get less nervous.
" and what should I wear to this date" I couldn't help but smile.
" umm you can dress up if you want but we are gonna be walking a little bit" he said which had me questioning where this date was.
" can I wear Jordan's Because I don't want to wear sneakers and your wearing loafers" I laughed
" whatever you wear will look good no matter what it is but yea you can wear sneakers"
We talked a little more and then hung up the phone.
I put some clothes on and headed to my backyard to see what Jordan wanted.
