Ashley POV
I woke up , ate breakfast, took a shower and put some clothes on. The first place I headed out to was the barbershop.
When I pulled up the parking lot was full like always. I walked in side and sat behind my desk. I looked to see who was working and if everyone showed up. Then I looked to see if I wasn't being cheated with my money and stuff like that. Lastly I went to the locker room to make sure it's clean. All of this took me till about 3 in the afternoon.
Next I went to my message place to see if those niggas got the act together. On the way I stopped at Chick fil a and got a large fry.
When I pulled up the parking lot was full like the barbershop. I walked in and walked right behind the desk. I seen Somebody at the printer and From looking at the computer I could tell he was printing a schedule. Next I went to the locker room and it was cleaner than the one at the barbershop. The rooms were full and there was only 2 people In the waiting room.
They look like they got the point so I left. By this time it was 4:30 and I had to stop by Justin's house to sign for a package. He wasn't going to be able to make it home in time so I offered.
When I got there I noticed Bentley's car in the driveway and was not prepared to deal with his drama.
I parked my car and went in the house. The first thing I saw was Bentley sitting on the steps.
It was an awkward silence until he broke it.
" Ashley I'm sorry for how I came at you in the pet store. It's just... you were mine at one point and I thought I was getting another chance. I didn't mean to be over protective but I wasn't expecting to be kept a secret."-
" I was so confused and hurt at the fact that all of the men in my life that I gave a chance messed up. Nobody.. not you or majestic asked me how I felt. You were considered about you and your chance, securing your spot. I don't hate you I just wish you have let time do its thing." I said sitting next to him.
" can I take you out .. not on a date per say but on an I'm sorry hang out thing. A friend thing" he smiled
" a friend thing" I laughed and the doorbell rang.
We both got up but he answered the door. It was the package people. When he was done I got ready to leave.
" you didn't give me an answer lil girl"he laughed.
" well I have something to do later on tonight but if you want you can come chill at my house now" I said opening the door.
I drove to my house with Bentley's car behind mine. When we go to my house we went straight to my room.
" Give me like ten minutes I gotta take a shower and wet my hair." I said and left him sitting on my bed watching tv.
Bentley's POV
Ashley's bed felt cozy as shit. She had velvet everything. I'm not even gonna Capp I do wanna fuck her but I'm going to try this friend thing for a while. She came out of the bathroom in her red satin robe and curly hair. Her skin was glowing and that was not helping me hold back. She smelled hella good and I was jealous that she had plans with anyone but me.
" so where is it that you getting all dolled up for" I asked.
" the fair with you" She said and confused the shit out of me.
" my original plans got canceled so I'm yours for the night .. we'll your friend for the night". She smiled and went to her closet to change. What I had on was cool enough to ware. I went in her bathroom to look for a scrunchy. I came back and waited for her to get dressed.
Finally I herd the door open and her very fine ass walk out.
" you ready" I asked looking everywhere but her face.
She had on grey leggings, a grey cropped tank top, a ripped cropped jeans jacket and grey sparkly Gucci sneakers. Her outfit was simple but her body made it special.
" yea do you wanna take one car or two" she asked as we headed down stairs.
" are you sure you want to be seen in the same car as little ole me" I put my hand on my chest.
" shut up I'm a SINGLE woman I can do what I please" she said walking out the door heading to my car. We got in my car and I drove to the fair.
" so since we're friends who the new dude I've been hearing about if you don't mind me asking" I asked while parking the car.
" well since we're friends the man I've been dating is named larenzo." I can't believe the name that just came out of her mouth.
" wait larenzo as in larenzo McKnight" I said undoing my seatbelt.
" yea you know him or something?" She said with no care in the world like the nigga isn't crazy or something.
" girl the whole damn city know him..hes one of us but more controlling to put it in light terms.. well I hope you know what your getting yourself into."
" what are you talking about Ben.. what am I getting my self into"she said with a smirk. I wanted to tell her but I didn't want what I tell her to make her fell like I'm lying.
" just promise me one thing as someone that loves you .. that you'll be careful" I said turning off the car.
