Reunited

Prologue

  3rd person pov

A young girl with long light blue hair and chocolate brown eyes was walking through the woods carrying a younger girl with darker blue hair and matching chocolate brown eyes on her back. The younger girl appeared to be about 3 years old while the older girl must have been about 8. They both looked exhausted but the older girl kept going with the younger one still on her back.

"Yua~oneesan were are we going?" The younger sister questioned.

"Somewhere safe Wendy~Chan." The older sister replied.

"Ok Oneesan." Wendy responded to her sister too tired to ask questions.

The two sisters continued walking until The older sister's legs gave out causing her to fall and drop her once sleeping sister. The older girl tried standing back up only to fall on her face, eventually she gave In and allowed herself to lose consciousness knowing that she could no longer stand.

The next morning Wendy woke up to a large white dragon standing over her and her unconscious older sister. Wendy was more curious than scared of the large creature but didn't want to do anything just in case so instead she stood up and walked over to her big sister and shaking her to wake her up. Yua  woke up to her little sister shaking her and sat up immediately when she noticed the large white dragon standing in front of them.

"I see both of you are now awake, but what are human children doing out here in the forest?" The dragon asked with a soft feminine voice.

"Running away from the people who are hunting us." Yua said slightly cautious of the creature in front of her.

"Why are they after you child?" The dragon asked with slight curiosity.

"They want our magic capabilities. But who are you?" Yua responded.

"I am Grandeeney the sky dragon and who might you two be?"Grandeeney asked.

"I'm Yua Marvell and this is my younger sister Wendy Marvell." I stated.

"I see well then, I wish to take one of you as my student but I can only take one." Grandeeney said looking at us with hope.

"I humbly ask you to take Wendy as your student. I know that if she stays with me she'll get hurt or die due to my inability to care for myself nevermind Wendy but I know you are able to take care of her." Yua explained knowing what she was doing was the best for wendy. Wendy however stood next to her sister with tears streaming down her face not wanting to leave her sister.

"Very well child I'll take good care of the little one and make sure she becomes strong." Grandeeney reassured the older child.

"Thank you. Wendy behave I'll see you again soon enough and remember 'Side by side or miles apart we are sisters connected by the heart'." Yua said to Wendy as she wiped away her tears with her thumb. Then leaving through the forest knowing her beloved little sister was safe.
