Fairy Tail Super, Book 5: Bonds of Ice.

The House of Darara.

Crowded and Noisy. 

That's how Gray would definitely describe his environment anyways. The last environment you'd usually expect from an undercover job..

His first undercover job ever in Fairy Tail.. but this time he wasn't getting paid for it, not in Jewel at least.. more like in possible knowledge.

Currently, Gray wore a long black coat with gold buttons and and a crest depicting a Dragon's Wing on it.. with a gold laser pistol holstered to his belt.  The typical uniform of the Noble Guard that worked and managed the House of Darara, the richest man in the galaxy..

In fact, the entire planet of Vertos and it's surrounding solar system was owned by the Darara House, and considered as part of the home's estate... well when you wanted a big back yard and had the money for it.. why not make it the size of a solar system?

Noble families from other reaches of space, as well as those who swore loyalty to the Fullbuster Family were allowed to live in the various gorgeous resort like places that populated all 10 planets in the system itself.  With only the Fullbuster family living on Vertos, having the entire snow covered planet to themselves... which struck others as odd due to the fact that every other planet was like a resort.. and yet here the Fullbuster family wanted to take up residence in the coldest most unpleasant place in the system...

Gray didn't find that strange however. He knew why an Ice Mage would pick such a cold place.. the perfect place to train their magic. 

The fact that his father.. the infamous ice Demon Slayer Zero.. had actually been from another planet was still hitting him like a large brick.. though granted it would've been more shocking if some of his friends weren't actually aliens.

Pumkin, Hit, Majin Gummi, Pumkin Black.. who was technically the clone of an alien, the three mages from Turtle Hermit: Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo... not to mention Mana was technically Half Alien..  and while he didn't count Brianne De Chatteu and her Magical Girls from Blue Pegasus as friends really, they were acquainted enough...  

No.. the actually reeling part was that Gray's family was a bunch of snot nosed slave owners.. and here he was... infiltrating them..

Gray gritted his teeth. No.. his Father had proved long ago that he was nothing like how Darara was described..  this wasn't his family.. Fairy Tail was..

Gray decided to concentrate on his surroundings. He was standing in a massive courtyard covered with snow. At one end.. was a massive metal front gate.. and in the center, was an ice sculpture of a dragon standing on top of  fountain spewing clear rainbow water.. And behind that.. A massive mansion that had to be at least as big as Domus Flau in Crocus City.

Multiple people wearing the same attire as Gray stood watch in the courtyard, eyeing the gate, as if expecting somebody... 

Next to Gray.. were the only other two people present who knew of his true purpose in being here.

Son Goku.. who was taller than most present, due to his powerful muscular build, which didn't seem to go with his amazingly innocent and amicable looking expression... and Natsu Dragneel, Gray's rival and perhaps one of his greatest friends.

There was also a fourth person on this mission.. and she was due to arrive any minute. And her role was perhaps the most dangerous of them all.

Gray gulped with determination. Before they left.. Lyon had come to him and made him swear he'd protect Pumkin Everezz.. but he needn't had asked...  Gray wouldn't let a single person hurt her.. she had a rough enough life as it was.
