Not An Enemy

Link sighed and stared up at the sky, ignoring the sound of galloping horses in the distance. He wasn't too far from the farm where he worked, and he wasn't expecting anyone to visit him. When the sound of hooves drew near, Link sat up, grass sticking out of his hair.
The rider dismounted and walked up to Link, looking down at him with a hand on his hip. He tilted his head and raised a brow. "How long have you been waiting?"
Link shrugged and looked away, blushing slightly. He had been practically friendless until a few months ago, when a foreigner arrived in town. His dark skin and desert clothes intrigued Link, and he couldn't help but get a closer look. Of course, the guy was as abrasive as sand itself... At first.
"I told you I wasn't coming today." His friend said, sitting down beside him.
Link looked over at him and raised an eyebrow, as if to say 'Oh really.'
"Yeah, yeah. I know, but what can I say? I'm a liar." He smiled, his eyes full of a teasing light.
Link rolled his eyes and leaned back again, 'oof'ing slightly when his head met the ground. His friend followed suit, and they lay there in silence for a moment.
"You don't talk much do you?" His friend sighed, then rolled onto his side. "I'm Ganondorf. You gonna make up a stupid nickname for me?"
Link looked over at him, tilting his head to the side to rest on his arm. He was quiet for a moment, then turned his head to look back up at the sky. "Gan."
His friend chuckled and rolled his eyes. "Oh goddesses, that's stupid! I mean, if anyone else called me that I'd kick their ass."
Link looked over at him and raised an eyebrow as if to say, 'Anyone else? Not me though?'
Ganondorf shook his head, still laughing a bit. "What about you? Got a name, oh man of few words?"
Link smiled at Gan's dramatic words. He nodded, but didn't answer. Gan leaned closer, his head propped up on a hand and his brows raised expectantly.
Link sighed softly and Gan rolled his eyes. "Okay smartass, don't tell me."
"Link." He said as Gan was about to roll onto his back. His friend stopped and looked him up and down, as if measuring his sincerity.
"Link." Gan nodded, then grinned. "It's been two and a half weeks, and we've finally introduced ourselves."
Link smiled and let out a soft laugh, nodding his head. The breeze blew passed them gently and Link sat up, Gan following curiously.
"Link, what-" He stopped mid sentence, or rather, he was stopped. His eyes were wide and he couldn't help but stare ahead in shock. It seemed like a long time had passed, but really it was only a few seconds. Gan looked down at Link, their lips parting slowly. Link's eyes fluttered open and he blushed, looking away. He opened his mouth, probably to apologize.
His words were cut off by Gan's own kiss, the foreigner's hands gently pulling him closer. He gasped into the kiss as Gan's tongue slipped into his mouth, then moaned and rolled his eyes back as thick brown fingers threaded into his hair. When they separated, Link was left panting harshly, a red tint washing over his face and ears. Gan bit his lip.
"I told myself that you could never feel the same. I told myself that I hate you." Gan leaned in and brushed their lips together, looking into Link's eyes. "But then again, I am a liar."
