HAZEL P.O.V

I was walking through the woods, feeling the fresh scent of pine and water drift into my nasal. I looked around and saw fallin yellowish orange leaves on the grassy floorbed, massive trees stood tall, only a few leaves on each branch since it's autumn. I walked around weaving through the trees, hearing the crunch underneath my feet from the twigs and leaves. I was wearing red converse with my high waisted denim jeans and a red tank top that was tucked into my shorts. I wore my Superman SnapBack backwards, liking the clear view of the woods better.

'Thanks for taking me out Hazel, I couldn't bare seeing dad punish that poor rogue. No one will ever understand how rogues feel, why can't they see skin deep?' My wolf Meridah questioned in my thoughts.

'Sadly I think that everyone is blind Meri, that can't see what's past their muzzle. They are the same as us, they want to live, find a mate and have a family.' I said as I sat down on the floor, I brought my legs up to my chest and rested my head between them, still looking at the beautiful scenery.'They've just had it hard. All they need is to find that small bit of hope, but they've waited long enough and had given up, thinking that the rogue life would suit them.'

I looked up and saw the sky, clouds started to turn a dark shade of grey, I knew it would rain eventually. I continued to sit there, enjoying the peace and quiet. I could hear the birds skawking, flying above me look to find shelter. I looked at my wrist and fiddled with the bracelet a little pup gave me. She thought it would look nice, the fish tail braided rubber bands were all colourful. I received three of these; one rainbow, one blue, red and white and one out of order multicoloured one. I smiled and giggled to myself.

'Those young pups were very friendly. I want to play with them tomorrow- Hazel stay on guard, I sense some company around you not too far.' Meridah said protectively and I obeyed.

She was right, I could sense presence somewhere here, but where? I sniffed out anyone, the smell of petroleum, burnt wood and metal was strong and I nearly choked. I slowly got up from my position, cllimbing the tree that I was leaning on while I was sitting and crouched down on a branch that was out of view from the bottom but I could clearly see from here.

'Let me take over a bit, there's a trespasser here.' Meridah said and I let her take over my sense. I was still in control over my body, she only made my senses more heightened. You were trained to do this if you were a high rank; for instance, I'm the daughter of Alpha Xavier of the Golden Rise Pack.

I felt my eyes glow more brighter, meaning she was using my sight to find the trespasser. Not too longer she had found them behind the tall bushes, not far from me at all but a bit too close. They looked as if they had sensed my gaze and presence and started looking around everywhere. There were two male wolves and a small boy. The men looked around there early 20's and the boy looked no older than 8.

We looked closer and saw that one of the men, his hair was a dull blonde colour from behind and his skin had dark blotches on it from dirt, the man had a silver knife gripped tightly in his hand that was raised slightly. The other man with light brown hair and dead looking brown eyes had a metal crow bar in one hand and his hand behind his back, no doubt has another weapon behind his back. The small boy in the middle of them was shaking, he had blood dripping from his lip, bruised arms and legs and was holding his stomach.

'Slowly and steadily attack the man with blonde hair from behind and take out the other.' She said and I mentally nodded. My wolf and I make a great team, usually werewolves would neglect there inner wolf and try and fight themselves, but without your wolf you are weak like a human.

I got in my pouncing position and felt my claws and teeth grow more animalistic like a wolf. I jumped down and while jumping down I kicked the back of the blonde man's head and saw him face plant into the ground. The man behind me turned and was about to strike with his crow bar but I clawed his face, making sure we weren't near the child.
