Stiles POV
"She seems like a nice girl, maybe we can tell her soon," Scott insisted.
"You don't know her like I do, we need to give it more time, we need her to trust us before we tell her. I don't know how she'll react."
"Stiles... If you wait and she catches on by surprise, she probably won't ever forgive you."
"Allison didn't get mad," I blurted, instantly regretting it.
"Allison was different," He replied looking down at his shoes, kicking the dirt outside of his new home.
"I'm not putting her in more danger by telling her, the less she knows the better it is for her."
Scott started at me silently, disappointment shielded against his eyes.
"Scott... I'm not just going to tell her that my best friend is a werewolf who thinks Riverdale has something big coming. She'll laugh at me and then tell me she needs rest, that's just who she is."
Scott looked at me silently nodding when a black haze drifted around my eyes causing me to loose my balance.
"Stiles, are you okay!" Scott yelled helping me up off the ground.
"Yeah... uh I-I just got a little dizzy," I mumbled my head starting to ache now.
"Stiles like it or not we're gonna need her help one day or another, we barely know anything about this town"
"We're gonna tell her when she's ready, for now she stays out of it," I demanded "I'm not feeling too great, I'm gonna go home and rest, I'll see you tomorrow at school."
"Bye stiles."
"Night Scott." I quickly got in my Jeep and speeded home trying to avoid an accident on the road.
That night I stared at my roof, unable to sleep, unable to move. I promised my self that I would tell Scott about what was going on, the truth is I don't even remember half of the stuff that went down at Betty's house last week.
There was something really wrong with me. I made a promise that I would tell Scott first thing tomorrow, he would help me get through it and figure it out.
After hours of thinking what could be wrong with me I began to think of Betty, feeling her warm touch against my shaking forehead. Her hand wrapped around mine, telling me to sleep before drifting away.
One fragment of that night I didn't forget, I couldn't forget.
Betty didn't know it but that was the first time I had slept in the week.
I started to think about this boy named Jughead. She never told me she had a boyfriend.
Maybe it never came up.
I had seen him around school a few times, hanging out with the Serpents. Did he deserve someone as good as Betty?
I reached over to check the time on my phone. It was 4:22 am. Sighing I began rubbing the temples of my forehead, longing for Betty's touch to help me fall asleep again.
Lydia had texted me quite a bit after Scott told me what she did, asking me if I was mad at her and why I wasn't responding.
Talking it out was something I absolutely didn't want to do. I was over it, it didn't hurt anymore, I didn't love her, I just loved the idea of her, and that wasn't fair.
Checking the time again it was now 7:02. I decided it was time to start getting ready for school.
After I was done I got in my jeep and drove over to Scott's house to pick him up.
"Nervous?" I asked while he hopped into the passenger seat.
"I'm the hot girl, remember." We both began laughing and slowly drove off.
During the ride I told Scott about every thing that was going on, he was silent for a few minutes but then suggested we ask Betty about where to get sleeping pills. He thought if I went to sleep it would fix things.
"Okay," I replied. "We can ask Betty. Or is it just an excuse so you can see her again."
"What? No!" He said sarcastically. "She's not my type." He insisted laughing.
"Scott McCall has a 'type'. You heard it here first, ladies," I joked.
We both entered the school.
"On second thought, I'm kinda nervous." Scott scrambled.
"Relax, you're the hot girl."
Scott was in all of my classes which we worked out with the school councillor. He would have a just fine first day.
When it was finally lunch we set out to look for Betty.
We walked into a student lounge area where we found Jughead.
"Hey Jughead! We're looking for Betty, have you seen her?"
"Why are you guys looking for my girlfriend?" He asked bitterly.
I looked at Scott, we were both in shock.
"You guys looking for me?"
