(Y/N) just stood there and stared, narrowing his eyes while scanning the growing crowd. Where did Hisoka go? And why did he just smile like that? (Y/N) shivered a little and he realized his legs were shaking like jell-o. This was too weird. (Y/N) quickly willed his legs to keep moving when he realized that the passerby started giving him funny looks for standing still in the middle of the sidewalk for so long.
(Y/N) was completely done already. He spun around and made his way back to Heaven's Arena. There was no way he was going to risk running into that murderer again. (Y/N) patted his beanie to make sure his ears were still laying flat and out of sight before speedwalking away. He decided to take a few shortcuts to get back to his room as quickly as possible, swerving into an alley or two to get to his destination quicker. But (Y/N) could still smell him. Hisoka's strange scent wafted in the air and clung to his senses, disorientating him until the frightened neko had to stop to regain his senses. (Y/N) took deep breaths, trying to keep his head from spinning. Why was he making such a big deal about this, anyways? Yes, Hisoka was dangerous, but all he did was accidently bump into him. Plus, he had quickly apologized, so Hisoka wan't angry, right? (Y/N) prayed that Hisoka wasn't planning on murdering him now. (Y/N) let out a sigh, leaning back against the wall of the alley and slid until he hit the ground with a thump. That was close. Waayyyy too close. (Y/N) sternly told himself that he was overreacting. I'm going to rest here a bit. Then I'm going straight back to Heaven's Arena and I'm going to take a nap. No, I didn't eat yet... I'm going to make myself a sandwich and THEN I'm going to nap. Yeah, that sounds nice... (Y/N) allowed himself to fully relax, closing his eyes. He was still in an alley, so nobody would see him there anyways.
(Y/N) waited until his breathing was regular again to reopen his eyes. He knew that he shouldn't stay in some shady alley all alone for long, as that always seemed to be where bad things happen. (Y/N) shivered, thinking once more of Hisoka before pushing the thought out of his mind. He had to stop thinking of that stupid clown. (Y/N) abruptly stood up, brushing the dirt off his pants before walking back towards the street. Thankfully, the Heaven's Arena was very close to him. Hoping he didn't look too suspicious emerging from an alley, (Y/N) got back to the road and traveled across the sidewalk until he got back to the Heaven's Arena. In the time that had passed since (Y/N) left the building, more citizens had emerged for the morning and the traffic thickened, bustling about like ants. It took the neko a bit to weave inbetween the pack of civilians, but eventually he made it to the elevator and up to his room.
Once (Y/N) turned the lock to his room, he quickly burst inside and threw off his beanie and kicked off his shoes. Thankfully, there had been no sign of Hisoka since he had accidentally bumped into the joker. He looked around the room, but everything seemed to be the same. Shaking off his feeling of uneasiness, (Y/N) headed back to the kitchen, opening the fridge to see its contents. Half a gallon of milk, some lettuce, a few slices of ham and cheese, ketchup, water bottles of various sizes, and butter. He'd have to go grocery shopping again soon. Great. (Y/N) grabbed the lettuce, ham, and cheese, before turning to the pantry and picked out two slices of bread. He continued to slap the ingredients together to make a lazy, half-assed sandwich. But (Y/N) didn't really care, taking a few bites. He sat alone, deep in his thoughts, as he worked on eating the sandwich. 'I wonder what Hisoka's doing. Wait- why are you thinking that?? What an idiot... the clown is probably murdering someone or whatever... hopefully he doesn't want to kill me. I have to stop thinking about that guy. He has nothing to do with me, so I'm going to forget about him and eat my damn sandwich.' (Y/N) flicked his fluffy tail indignantly at his own thoughts, cramming the last few bites of his sandwich into his mouth. He then stood up, licking the crumbs off his fingers. According to his phone, it was only 10:35. 'Whatever. I want to take a nap anyway, so screw time.'
(Y/N) went back to the bedroom before collapsing onto the bed, tucking himself under the sheets. He reached over and turned off the lamp sitting on his nightstand, throwing the room into darkness. (Y/N) let out a small purr as he cuddled into the blankets, not giving a single damn about how lazy he was being. Hisoka finally slipped his mind for the first time since the incident earlier that day as (Y/N) was slowly lulled to sleep.
