"Dipper! Where are you going?" The brown haired boy looked back at his twin sister.

"Just into the Forrest alright Mable? Uncle Ford asked me to collect some of those height-altering crystals."

"Fine!" Mable stormed, "Just pick me a daisy or two!" Dipper closed the door of the Mystery Shack, and walked off toward the Forrest. It wasn't long before he stumbled across the crystals. He took out his pocket knife and eased one out of the earth.

"I think this will be enough." Dipper told himself, putting the crystal in his pocket.

Bill was moping. It was so unfair that he had been reduced to a form that could barely interact with non-living objects!

"I think this will be enough." Wait! Was that Pine Tree's voice? Bill floated toward the sound. Pine Tree was putting one of the crystals into his pocket. Bill watched him.

Dipper looked around. He had just got the feeling he was being watched. He shrugged it off. Wait. Where had he come from? Dipper opened his trusty journal.

What to do When Lost in the Forrest: I have been lost in the Forrest before, so here's some tips for getting out. One. Listen. If you can hear a stream, go to it. The town is down stream from most of the rivers.

Okay. All he needed to do was listen. Was that a river? Dipper hurried towards the sound. It was! It was a river! He set down the journal on a rock.

Wow, am I thirsty, he thought, leaning down towards the rushing stream.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ha ha! He is so getting pushed in by me! Okay, Bill, you can do this, just possess him for a second, and this will all be over. Come on, come on, come on!

POOF. Bill was in control leaning over the river. He felt Dipper's spirit fighting for control, for Bill could not force him out all the way.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

What the? Dipper felt the sensation of Bill taking over his body, trying to tip him into the river. Dipper struggled against him, but lost as they tumbled head over heels into the river.

Splash! Dipper felt the sensation go away. Bill must've been shocked out by the cold water. He made it to the top of the river for a second, gulping down air, before the rapids pulled him under. Ouch!

Something that suspiciously reminded Dipper of a log hit him on the head. He became disoriented. Which way was up? He let out some air. The bubbles! Of course! He followed them up to the surface.

He had reached a calm section, so he doggy-paddled his way over to the shore. As he climbed out, he took off his hat and rung it out.

"Hey Pine Tree! Nice of me to push you into the river, huh?" A cold, dangerous voice echoed around the clearing.

"Bill Cypher?" Dipper's squeaky voice asked with more than a hint of fear, "You're gone. W-We defeated y-you!"

"Not quite you haven't! Remember, reality is an illusion, the universe is a hologram, buy gold, BYE!" Bill disappeared in a puff of smoke.

What am I going to tell the others? Dipper wondered as he wandered back to the Mystery shack. What am I going to tell Uncle Ford?

Dipper decided not to tell them anything and just go to bed. He went upstairs, not even bothering to take off his clothes. He then promptly passed out with the covers over him.
