Ugh, why does my head hurt? Stan thought as he helped the overwhelming costumers. There were usually way less, even on a busy day. It seemed as though everyone in town had come to buy the water. Even the Northwests had bought ten cratefuls. He was going to be the richest man in town.

But seriously, why did his head hurt? Stan figured that it might be good to ask Ford about it, and bring him a bottle of that water.

He walked over to the vending machine and punched in the code. When the elevator opened, Stan found Ford's experiments on the height crystals. A chair was twice as small as it should've been and there was a dog-sized ant crawling around. Stan shuddered to think what would happen if it was a millipede.

There was also a werewolf thing with red fur crouching in the corner, too. Where was Ford?

"Stan? Can you tell Ford to get downstairs?"

"Wendy?" Stan looked at the werewolf, amazed, "What happened?"

"I'd rather not talk about it." Wendy looked down at herself.

"Where's Ford?"

"Upstairs, checking on Mable. Why?"

"I've started to have a stiffness in my back along with a bad headache. I want Ford to check it out." Stan set the bottle on the table. "I also thought he might be thirsty. Give this to him. I insist"

"K Stan. I'll be down here if you need me."

"You know what? I'm going to double your pay if you do this for me."

"What is it?"

"See the amazing wolf-girl. If you throw money at her, she dances!" Stan smiled hopefully.

"I'll have to think about it." Stan frowned.

"Fine. I'll go upstairs to check on Ford." Stan turned around, and collapsed on the floor.

"STAN!" I shook him, trying to wake him up. I could still feel his pulse and heartbeat, but it was muted, as if stone were around it, muffling the sound.

I have to get Ford! But how do I get out without the tourists seeing me? Wait! I have a phone. I can call him.

Wendy took out her phone, paws shaking. It was hard to press the screen between her fur and strength, but Wendy managed.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ford was upstairs, talking to Mable about where she would like to go first.

"...and then I would go to the ocean, and be friends with Mermando! I met him last year when he was trapped in the pool."

Ford's phone rang. He was getting a call from Wendy. He answered it, thinking that she would've been desperate to try to call him.

"Wendy, what happened?"

"stanwascomplainingaboutahedacheandhewentdownstairstoseeyouthenhecollapsedandidontknowwhattodo!"

"Slow down! I can't understand you!"

"Stan was complaining about a headache and he went downstairs to see you then he collapsed and I don't know what to do!"

"Is he alright?"

"I don't know. He still has a pulse and his heart's beating, but they seem muted, as though something's stopping it. He's also starting to turn grayish."

"I'll be right down there. Hang on, Wendy." Ford got up and looked at Dipper and Mable.

"Dipper, create a diversion to get the costumers out. Mable, you're with me."

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Dipper raced down the stairs and stopped at the bottom. How was he to get all the costumers out? There were still a lot, and Soos looked overwhelmed. How could one person sweat that much? Forcing his mind back to other matters, Dipper knew what he had to do.

"Everybody! Everybody!" He called as he walked to the center of the shack, "Take some photos with the half-deer outside! $50 for each photo! Come on! Woooo! Photos!" Dipper ran (pranced?) outside, and everyone followed him.

As he walked out, Dipper called to Soos, "Close the Shack! Uncle Ford said so!" As far as he knew, he might give them three to four hours.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ford looked out the window. Dipper was having the tourists get into a line, and take photos with them? Well, the secret might be out, but at least all the tourists were outside.

He grabbed Mable and put her in the fish tank so Mable could breathe. Then, Ford went downstairs, Mable right behind him. They got to the elevator.

"Soos! Come downstairs into the basement with us!"

"Ok, Mable. The Shack's closed so I might as well." Soos stepped into the elevator with Ford and Mable. They went down.

As the elevator doors opened, Wendy ran over to them.

"Guys! He's made of stone now!" She pulled them over. Stan was indeed made of stone. He could've been mistaken for a statue with clothing on. What had happened?
