The girl did not know if it was the cold or the message that made her shiver. It felt like she was being watched. Like he could see right through her skin. It was impossible to cover her tracks now that it was too late.

He had already reached the first base. Three warning text from him had been enough to make her beg. That was when he decided to send in the first secret. The secret that was not enough to harm her, but just enough to know that he wasn't playing around.

" Remember what happened to Rolando. It was sweet, wasn't it? To know everything and yet act blank? Where was the guilt? The friendship that should have lasted to you're grave," The girl read the text aloud.

She had already asked him to name a price. Money or anything else that he wanted. So when the phone beeped once again, she had no choice but to hope. Hope he would leave the monster inside of her alone.

It had taken her years to forget her past. To start over and remind herself that she was good enough. To ignore those comments in the hallway and after school. It had taken a few years to let go of everything.

" I have no price. But I would watch you're tracks if I were you. Make sure to check the school website tomorrow morning. I have a habit of dropping behind unexpected gifts." She read the text aloud once again.
