okay so this is all new to me lol well at least writing on here. I'm not much of a writer so if this is bad i am so sorry :) this is going to have cussing in it so if that bugs you, once again, I'm sorry. This is probably not how they talked in the '50s so please bear with me ha ha. so to the story...
Being in a new town is not easy. Being a girl IN a new town isn't easy. My name is Kataryna Lite and I live with my very nosey sister Bethany. We had to move to Baltimore because our parents where killed while they were at the drug store. I was sick and Beth had to take care of me while they went to the store to get me medication. I have always felt like their death was my fault. No more dwelling in the past for now. We were still driving while my sister was prattling on about our new house. "The whole town has this strange thing going on. Someone told me that the town is divided between Squares and Drapes, whatever that is," my sister said.
"Wait, what was that?"
"Squares and Drapes," she replied.
"What are those?"
"I have no clue, but I guess we will find out wont we?"
"I guess so," I mumbled.
We got to the house. It wasn't anything grand. We could afford it, but my sister believes in conserving money. We got quite the sum from my parents. I started to take the boxes out of the car when i heard, "You are starting school tomorrow, by the way."
"I don't even get a day to tour the town or unpack?"
There was a slight pause where she just looked at me, kind of puzzled.
"I didn't even think of that. I guess you can start on Wednesday," she said while grabbing a box.
I just smiled and looked at the ground silently laughing. She is so silly sometimes. I grabbed another box and walked into the house.
okay so I know it's really boring right now but it will get much better i promise :)
