The Juke-box Jamborie ~Part 1~

I told you I would try harder, didn't I?? lol well its been what... 3 days? Im getting better at this. I hope that you all like it :) todays been rough for me so I have to keep my mind off of what happened today. If you would like to know what happened, just ask :) ANYYYYYWAYYYY.....carry on my few but faithful readers.

When I got home I was expected to be bombarded with questions about my first day of school, but there was no one home.

" Beth? Are you home?" I asked wondering why I said that.

She would have been at the front door if she was here, genius. My inner self said. Well I thought I would ask just in case. Don't judge me. I walked into the kitchen and saw a note on the fridge.

I got a job at the grocery store. Should be back by 10

I shrugged and looked in the fridge. Bless my sisters heart, she made me dinner and put it in the fridge. I don't know how I will repay you for this Beth. But it will happen one day. I would say I did my homework, buuuut I would be lying. I think the teachers just gave up on giving the students homework. From what I can tell, half of the student body doesn't do it anyway. I just hung out around the house until Beth got home. After she got comfortable, we sat in the living room and talked about my first day.

"So you just met Crybaby and he is singing to you and asking you to this Jamborie thing tomorrow night. Am I right so far?" Beth asked.

"Yes you are."

"But you sat with Baldwin at lunch?"

"Right again sister! And he stood up for my 'honor' on my way home too."

After I finished telling her the story, it was already 11:30.

"Alright you, go to bed. It's way past your bedtime and you have school tomorrow," Beth said.

"Yes ma'am," I saluted her and walked upstairs.

~Next Morning~

"KATARYNA LITE YOU BETTER BE OUT OF BED!" Beth yelled up the stairs.

"YEA, YEA. IM' UP."

Today I wore a light blue quarter sleeve shirt and a black skirt with white heels. I walked down the stairs and as I reached the bottom, I was greeted with a cup of coffee and some toast.

"You are running late again, missy. Get goin' to school. I will talk to you when you get home." Beth said.

I kissed her cheek and left the house. When I got to school, I was once again, greeted with stares. This redheaded girl and the blonde chick from yesterday were glaring at me. I gave them both a too-sweet smile and gave them a little wave and went to my first class.

~Lunch Time~

I sat with Baldwin at lunch again today.

"So what was with you yelling at Crybaby yesterday after school?" I asked Baldwin.

His cheeks flushed a little. "I was standing up for you."

I laughed. "Well I can take care of myself, but thank you for the thought."

After that, lunch went by the same way the first one went.

~At Home~

I was tearing through my closet trying to figure out what to wear for this Jamborie. Beth was just standing in the doorway laughing at my frazzled state.

I huffed. "Well are you just going to stand there or are you going to help me?"

Beth laughed and came to my side. "Give Crybaby something he can't take his eyes off of. Look sexy."

Then she walked off. I just stared dumbly after her. It took me a minute or two for me to come to my senses, but I did as she suggested. (A/N what she is wearing is the picture). If I had to choose between Baldwin and Crybaby, I thought, who would I choose?...
